Apple TV clearly has no plans to send the Slow Horses out to pasture anytime soon. Slow Horses has officially been renewed for Season 8, with the news arriving Tuesday, September 1, just one day before the Gary Oldman-led spy drama returns for its sixth season. Even by the increasingly confident standards of an established hit, having three seasons essentially lined up at once is a pretty strong vote of confidence. The eighth season will consist of six episodes and adapt Clo

It’s the early ’90s; you just had your bowl of cereal and watched your favorite Saturday morning cartoons. Now it is time to play some video games. You turn on your Sega Genesis, blow on your cartridge and begin to play the Golden Axe video game. The original Golden Axe was released in 1989 and featured unique storytelling of magic, dragons, and barbarians. You got to ride mythical creatures and fight skeletons with a sword. This was different than games kids were used to and

Full disclosure: I do not watch Reacher. I’ve been meaning to, but my plate is full. I’ll eventually get there. Having said that, I was all in for the spinoff Neagley. A Black female lead who can kick ass? I could not sign up fast enough. If you’re like me and need the quick backstory, Frances Neagley is a recurring character from Lee Child’s books who has also appeared in Prime Video’s Reacher. She became popular enough to get her own series, with Maria Sten stepping back in

Major spoilers for Lanterns Episode 5, 'Lights Out' All I can say is wow. “Lights Out” is easily one of the biggest episodes of Lanterns so far, and it finally brings everything that has been building between Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Zoey, and Antaan to a head. This episode gets brutal and emotional, and by the time we reach the end, everything has changed. We start in 2007, with Kerry speeding into Rushville, a town with a population of only 1,001. Her car breaks down, forc

How do you turn a 1989 arcade game about warriors beating their way through a fantasy world into a 10-episode animated television series? For Golden Axe executive producers Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler, the answer started with taking the world seriously enough to expand it but never so seriously that they forgot to have fun. Speaking with The TV Cave ahead of the Paramount+ series premiere, McMahan and Chandler explained that their own history with Sega's Golden Axe made the

For longtime Golden Axe players, Ax Battler doesn't exactly come with decades of complicated character development. The barbarian warrior helped define Sega's original 1989 game, but Paramount+'s new animated series has the opportunity to turn that familiar collection of muscles, weapons and heroics into an actual character. For Liam McIntyre, finding Ax meant looking beyond the warrior exterior. Speaking with The TV Cave ahead of the series premiere, McIntyre revealed that s
