The wilderness might be behind them, but the nightmare is far from over. Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets, and it looks like surviving the wilderness was only the beginning of these ladies' problems.

Premiering Friday, November 20, exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan, the final season brings the survivors back to Wiskayok for a homecoming that promises anything but peace. Shauna, Misty, Taissa, Melissa, and the rest of the group may have escaped the wilderness, but the secrets, trauma, and horrors they left behind aren't staying buried.

The Wilderness Never Really Lets Go

After years of watching the Yellowjackets struggle to survive following their devastating plane crash, the story is bringing them back to where their lives began to unravel. But returning home doesn't mean returning to normal, especially when you've survived things most people couldn't begin to understand.

The series has always balanced its brutal survival story with the complicated lives of the women nearly 25 years later. Now, with the final season approaching, the consequences of their time in the wilderness are threatening to follow them into the lives they've worked so hard to rebuild.

And let's be serious, this group has never exactly been great at keeping things peaceful. Between the betrayals, buried secrets, and questionable decisions, a quiet reunion was probably never in the cards.

One Last Descent Into Darkness

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets has built its reputation on psychological horror, complicated friendships, and the increasingly disturbing lengths its characters will go to survive. The fourth season will bring that story to its conclusion, giving fans one final look at how the survivors' past continues to shape their present.

The newly released trailer sets the stage for a savage homecoming, with the women facing the reality that escaping the wilderness never meant escaping what happened there. Whether the final season delivers answers, more heartbreak, or a few last shocking twists remains to be seen.

Yellowjackets Season 4 premieres Friday, November 20, on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan. And if there's one thing this series has taught us, it's that making it out alive doesn't necessarily mean you're safe.
