‘Nobody Wants This’ Renewed for Season 4 at Netflix Following That Surprise Wedding

Well, somebody definitely wants this! Netflix has officially renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season, and Joanne and Noah aren't finished keeping us invested in their love story just yet. The announcement came Friday, November 6, just over two weeks after Season 3 premiered on October 22.

Kristen Bell and Adam Brody will return as Joanne and Noah, whose relationship has gone from an unlikely romance to something much more serious. And after that Season 3 finale, the couple has a whole new set of challenges waiting for them.

Season 3 ended with Joanne converting to Judaism and the couple having a surprise wedding on the beach in Malibu. But there's one little detail that could make things interesting next season: Their loved ones don't know they're married, and the ceremony wasn't legally binding.

Co-showrunner Jenni Konner has confirmed that plenty of people will discover the marriage when the series returns. Considering how opinionated Noah and Joanne's families can be, we can already imagine how those conversations might go.

And let's not forget the other relationship drama. Sasha (Timothy Simons), Morgan (Justine Lupe), and Esther (Jackie Tohn) have their own complicated situation to sort through after Season 3, particularly following the revelations about Sasha's involvement with both women.

Netflix Has Another Hit on Its Hands

The renewal isn't exactly shocking when you look at the numbers. Season 3 pulled in 6.2 million views during its opening week and another 7.2 million the following week, bringing its first two weeks to 13.4 million views.

Series creator Erin Foster will continue as co-showrunner alongside Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. The trio celebrated the renewal, expressing their excitement about getting another season of the series they love working on.

Season 4 will once again film in Los Angeles, although Netflix hasn't announced a premiere date. For now, all three seasons of Nobody Wants This are available to stream on Netflix, giving fans plenty of time to revisit Joanne and Noah's journey before married life brings a fresh round of chaos.
