Warning: This recap contains major spoilers for Brothers Episodes 1 and 2. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have spent years joking about the possibility that their real-life friendship could come with an unexpected family connection. Apple TV’s Brothers wastes very little time turning that rumor into the foundation for its new comedy. The series finds McConaughey and Harrelson playing fictionalized versions of themselves, and the two-episode premiere throws their fami

SPOILER WARNING: This review contains major spoilers from the Line of Fire series premiere. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about screening Line of Fire, and Peter Krause is entirely to blame. After spending years watching Krause as Bobby Nash on 9-1-1, I am still salty as hell that he is no longer on that show. And yes, I am also one of those people who doesn't particularly want to see him paired with anyone who isn't Angela Bassett. I said what I said. So Peter, you

DOC wastes little time getting Amy back into complicated territory in the Season 3 premiere. Her memories are continuing to return, but rather than being overwhelmed by painful flashes, Amy is beginning to see a much clearer picture of what her life looked like before she lost them. Some of what she remembers is comforting, while other moments force her to confront parts of herself she may not particularly like. One of the biggest memories involves Jake. Amy remembers the mom

Spoiler Warning: This recap contains spoilers for Best Medicine Season 2, Episode 1, “Be Careful What You Fish For.” Best Medicine is back for Season 2, and Dr. Martin Best didn’t get much time to settle back into life in Port Wenn before everything got wonderfully weird again. The premiere, “Be Careful What You Fish For,” picks up a few months after the Season 1 finale and wastes no time dealing with the biggest problem hanging over Martin’s head: his secret blood phobia. Af

Spoiler Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Lioness Season 3, Episode 8. Joe McNamara may have escaped her kidnappers, but the Lioness Season 3 finale makes it clear that getting home was never going to be the end of her ordeal. “The Unravelling” spends much of its extended runtime digging into who orchestrated Joe’s abduction and why, while the consequences of her obsession with finding answers begin piling up around her. The finale ultimately connects Joe’s ki

Spoiler Warning: This article contains major spoilers for MobLand Season 2, Episode 1, “I Wanna Be Your Dog.” The Harrigans survived their war with the Stevensons, but winning clearly did not bring this family any peace. MobLand returned for Season 2 with “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” and the Harrigan empire is already facing a potentially bigger threat than the enemies it fought last season: itself. Conrad and Kevin are on opposite sides of a growing family divide, Maeve is keeping

There’s only one more Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 episode left after this one, and “Once La’An at a Time” certainly gives us plenty before we get there. A medieval fantasyland, a mysterious self-propelled planet, a prophecy, swordplay, a werewolf, a magical dragon fighting an iron dragon, doppelgangers galore, a villainous queen with a frightening power and dreams of conquest, a castle, two bungling ne’er-do-wells, secrets revealed, a surprising kiss and a story wi

After a season of international flavors, big risks and plenty of pressure inside the MasterChef kitchen, it all came down to Jake Kelley, Heidi Muston and Peter Egede. Part one of the Season 16 finale got their three-course menus underway with the appetizers, but the title of America’s next MasterChef would ultimately be decided by what happened next. The finalists returned for the final two courses of the competition, and there wasn't much room separating them. Heidi deliver

Spoiler Warning: This recap contains major spoilers from the R.J. Decker Season 2 premiere, “The Point of Us Breaking.” R.J. Decker is back, and apparently the most logical way to welcome us back to Florida is with a Dancing With the Stars flash mob, pantsless bank robbers and some seriously uncomfortable relationship business between R.J. and Emi. Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Victor Ochoa's murder, which has changed things considerably for R.J. (Scott Speedman) and
