Wow! What a stellar week once again for Beyond the Gates—from the acting to the storytelling, directing, fashion—you name it, they nailed it. As for Performance of the Week, the honor goes to a powerhouse talent whose quiet fury spoke volumes. The quiver in her voice let us know exactly what she was feeling—the deep hurt, the betrayal, the raw emotion—while still holding her composure. She didn’t fully break until she collapsed into the arms of her own daughter. That kind of restraint, that kind of grace under fire, belongs to none other than the phenomenal Daphnée Duplaix. This Haitian-American queen delivered a stunning performance as Nicole Dupree Richardson. She reminded us that you don’t have to scream or shout to convey pain, rage, or heartbreak. Sometimes, it’s the stillness that speaks the loudest. Chad and EJ talk about the auction and EJ’s date with Cat. Chad offers to buy EJ’s bid, assuming EJ is scheming. She’s never defied her mother before, but Tate reminds her that she’ll soon be 18 and can decide whether or not to give up their baby. He leaves to see Holly, and Sophia looks hurt. At the pub, Holly and Tate talk about the adoption—and possibly getting back together. Tate steps away to help Roman, and Doug and Holly unexpectedly cross paths. They talk about Doug’s job and living situation. Holly is happy for him, but when Tate sees them together, he walks away. Holly and Doug follow, but she gives up quickly, not wanting her mood ruined—unaware a camera is recording them. Dr. Russell informs EJ that Kayla won’t release him from the contract. EJ decides to simply buy the hospital. Dr. Russell is concerned about his research, and Kayla calls him back. Philip and Stephanie talk. He apologizes, and she forgives him—maybe they can be friends one day. Xander and Alex discuss the breakthrough drug and buying the hospital. Shawn D and Belle talk about their fathers, agreeing that they won’t give up on them and will continue to support them. Steve and Kayla strategize on how to steal the drug. Sarah arrives, saying she can’t attend the medical conference. This opens the perfect opportunity—she’ll send Dr. Russell in her place, freeing up access to the lab. Kayla later meets with Dr. Russell and convinces him to go. EJ informs Kayla that he wants to buy the hospital. She refuses and says even if he goes to the board, her answer is still no. EJ believes she’ll come around. He intends to own the hospital. Xander and Sarah agree to take a trip together. Alex tells Stephanie he knows about her novel and loves it. Brooke keeps trying to convince Ridge that they are destined to be together. Ridge insists he’s happy and plans to keep his promise to Taylor. Liam begins to feel a little sick. Finn helps him, and once he’s stabilized, Liam says he needs to visit Hope. Later, Steffy and Finn talk about how well she and Liam co-parent and support each other as friends. They also talk about what things might look like once Liam is gone. While they want to be there for Hope and Beth, they agree it’s unfair that Hope still doesn’t know. As Carter tries to reach Hope emotionally, Deacon walks in and throws some jabs. Hope asks her father to calm down. Carter leaves, and Liam arrives. Deacon drops subtle hints about him and Hope having a future, but Hope redirects and walks him out. Daphne is looking for Carter and runs into Will and Electra. When Carter finally shows up, Will and Electra give them space. Daphne again makes it clear she disapproves of Hope and still wants a future with Carter. Electra and Will enjoy time together. Later, Liam and Hope talk about their family. Liam becomes emotional, and Hope senses something is off. She presses him for answers, especially about why he’s living with Steffy. He claims it’s just more convenient. Hope wants the truth, but Liam continues to deflect. Brooke and Deacon talk about Hope’s relationship with Carter. While Deacon disapproves, Brooke doesn’t see it the same way—reminding him that Hope already dumped Carter. Liam tells Finn he’s still keeping his condition a secret. Meanwhile, Steffy visits Hope and breaks the news: Liam is dying. Hope is in shock and doesn’t want to believe it. Steffy explains the situation, and they both worry about how it will affect their daughters. Finn continues to be there for Liam. Drew holds a press conference to clear his reputation and also regains Willow’s trust, Gio’s true birth and paternity is almost exposed, Lulu is laser focused on Lois and Brook Lynn’s baby’s identity. Agent Jax/Joss betrays Emma and later strengthens their bond after sharing secrets. Nina is frustrated with Willow. Laura, Carly, Jason and Sasha give good advice to the teen guys. Dante confronts Gio and Danny with reality. Local spies are still surveilling, Kai gets through his surgery and Trina’s there to support him, Lucas and Marco get closer, Ava and Ric solidify their blackmail of Alexis, the Davis Girls’ connection rebuild begins, Drew continues blackmailing Portia, Jordan and Sidwell make Sonny an offer worth his while, a quirky character sadly leaves for good. Rocco was found and Danny got Gio to help him get Rocco to the Quartermaine beach house. Thankfully Cody came by before Gio left to get Rocco’s phone at the beach. Cody said Rocco’s breathing was too shallow, and they got him to the hospital immediately. Dr. Park said it was possibly alcohol poisoning. They began to pump his stomach. Dante, Lois and Lulu got to the hospital, and Dante asked Gio to tell him what happened. Rocco recovers and apologizes to his parents for drinking. Dante angrily threatens to make Gio responsible for Rocco’s drinking, by possibly arresting him. Lois defends Gio, and tries to stop Dante’s accusations. She tells him he doesn’t know who Gio is. Tracy and Lois talked about Brook Lynn’s baby. Tracy demanded to know where her Great Grandson was. She also wanted to know why the Quartermaines were never told there was a new Quartermaine baby. Lois wanted the best for the child, and is glad the child was raised away from the Quartermaine influence. Emma lost her thumb drive . Gio and Joss helped her search for it. Joss found it in the beach sands. Emma is thankful. Lucas and Marco get closer . They flirt with each other as they discuss their first date in the GH break room. They both agree there will be a second one. They are cutely falling in love. Brad looks on in anger as he watches Lucas and Marco laughing and talking. Willow takes a stand and tells Carly she must contact her before seeing Wiley and Amelia, not just drop by. Willow tells Nina that someone targeted  and drugged Drew. She wants to know who. Nina tells Willow she knows Drew is lying to her. Lulu and Dante declare they still love each other. Dante is also still in love with Sam.  Carly tells Lulu that Brook Lynn’s secret is not hers to tell. She says if she tells Dante he’s the father of an unknown child she will live with that decision for the rest of her life. J oss, Emma and Vaughn at the PCU Party . Emma and Joss reminisce about Cam and Spencer, and how they miss those times. Portia and Brad discuss his part in Drew’s drugging. Portia set Brad up to be the person who was responsible for getting the ketamine and searching Drew’s medical records. Brad tells Drew he knows who drugged him . He tries to make a deal to reveal the information. Brad makes a deal with Drew and is promised $1 million if he does something for him. Trina is there with Kai when he wakes from his surgery. Kai recuperates and is up. He is able to take a tentative step, but looks worried. Carly talks to Danny about his taking Rocco to a college party. She gets him to take responsibility for his actions. He and Rocco were lucky. Danny realizes he’s come close to losing his brother. Carly gives him tough love.  Alexis tells Diane she believes she cannot repair her family’s close relationship. Kristina feels betrayed. Alexis tells Diane Kristina doesn’t know Alexis knows about her attempted murder of Alexis and actual near killing of Elizabeth and Ric. Ava and Ric bring Alexis their newly formed offshore account. They also ask for increased blackmail payments. The Dolos Fund credit card  has very high limits. Cody is suspicious about Ava’s newfound wealth. Kristina tells Lucky about her Mom creating involuntary commitment papers for her. She doesn’t trust her Mom. Lucky she should take this chance to bring her family together. Kristina admits to Ava, Alexis and Ric that she was wrong in holding them responsible for her anger at losing her baby and Michael’s burn injuries. She apologizes and asks for peace with everyone. They all agree to her request. Emma comforts Gio , and says Dante is wrong in his assessment of Gio. Gio takes Dante’s to heart and realizes he doesn’t respect him. Lulu is putting facts together . She notices Lois’ ardent defense of Gio. She will research Lois’ whereabouts when Gio was born. She questioned Ned about Lois taking Brook Lynn on a music tour when Brook Lynn was in high school. Lulu’s putting the pieces together. Joss and Emma share information. Joss tells Emma about Dex and how his death influenced her desire to make things better in the world. Emma tells Joss she’s on a mission to expose Dalton’s unethical, questionable and dangerous research. She tells Joss the real reason she left her old school. Joss, Vaughn and Brennan discuss her progress on her mission. Joss did get Emma’s thumb drive and corrupt it. She had a delay in getting it back to Emma. Brennan emphasizes she gained access to Dalton’s lab as his research assistant. Drew gives a press conference to publicize that he was drugged and has filed a criminal complaint with the police. He says he was targeted and will find the perpetrator. He will not be alone, and presents Willow as his supporter. Brad leaves Port Charles for good. He goes to HR to resign. He gives his resignation letter to Portia. She asks if he’s certain, and says he is. Lucas later says goodbye. Jordan, Tracy, Sidwell and Marco meet at the Metro Court to discuss getting rid of Sonny. A coalition is formed. Marco tells them they are losing because the common man and woman love Sonny. He is charismatic and helps them. The Port Charles elite are the only ones who don’t like Sonny. Drew arrives and says he can be their ‘charisma’ person. They also need to step-up their social media game. Dante goes to Sonny’s home to talk to Jason and Sonny. He tells Jason almost got Rocco killed. Dante lets out all his frustrations and pent-up fear as he has a heart-to-heart talk with his Dad. Sonny tries to tell him not to be so hard on Gio, Rocco and Danny, because they are just kids. Dante says they have to be responsible for their actions.  Sasha talks to Danny and gives him good advice. She walks him through his past and future actions. She is great with him, and gives him some good tools of logic to prepare him for future situations. Jason later shares with Danny information about his brother, AJ. He tells him he started drinking heavily at Danny’s age. Jason earnestly tells his son he doesn't want that for him. Danny apologizes to Dante with Jason there for support, but Dante is not very receptive. Dante later tells Jason Danny could be charged as an accessory to manslaughter. This really gets Jason’s attention. Dante understands the boys regret what they did, but empty apologies don’t leave a lasting impression. Drew continues to threaten Portia . He wants her to influence Curtis to back Ezra Boyle for mayor, and convince the people to vote for the referendum to take over Sonny’s piers. Portia needs to tell Curtis Everything NOW! Tracy gives Marco a message for his Dad. Tell him if he can get rid of Sonny, Port Charles will be open for him and she will personally give him the key. Elizabeth and Lucas catch up and discuss if Portia is still being blackmailed when Brad leaves. They will continue investigating to help Portia. Nina and Curtis discuss what’s happening with the coalition of Jordan, Tracy, Sidwell, Drew and Marco. They know they are trying to get rid of Sonny. Nina says she’s still with Team Sonny. Curtis says Drew is trying to rally support against Sonny. He says Aurora Media is backing Laura and won't give Drew any support. That means they are backing Sonny by default.  Willow tells Isaiah why she supports Drew . She tells him she needs a judge to believe Drew is exonerated, so she can't lose her kids in her divorce. Jordan and Sidwell come to see Sonny . Sidwell tells him he can make it worth his while. Sidwell talks Sonny into selling his piers to him and circumventing the democratic referendum process. Lulu puts Rocco and Danny to work cleaning the house from top to bottom as a step towards reestablishing their trust. Danny and Rocco apologize to each other for what happened to Rocco. Sidwell asks Alexis to draw up a contract for a huge real estate purchase. Dante tells Rocco and Danny they are brothers, and should be there for each other.  Dante and Lois apologize to each other for the angry arguments they had about what happened to Rocco. Jason tells Lois Dante was right about his parenting skills. He’s determined to make changes in how he parents Danny. Danny  is his priority. Jason asks Sonny if he's going to sell his piers to Sidwell. Sonny says he might. Sasha and Willow meet and Sasha tells her that she chose the wrong man. Willow doesn’t want to believe this. Sasha later tells Jason that Michael never spoke with Willow face-to-face. Drew pulls out the envelope Brad gave him earlier. Drew gives it to Willow, she opens it and finds a capsule. Prime Video has officially canceled On Call after just one season. The gritty police procedural, which premiered back in January 2025, garnered a loyal following and critical praise for its raw, real-time storytelling and socially conscious themes. Despite its strong start, the show will not be returning for a second season, marking yet another abrupt end to a promising series in the fast-paced world of streaming. On Call  followed veteran Long Beach officer Traci Harmon (Troian Bellisario) and her rookie partner Alex Diaz (Brandon Larracuente) as they navigated the unpredictable and emotionally charged world of community policing. Shot in a real-time format, each episode offered a gripping look into the intense pressures officers face on the job from overdoses and domestic violence to complex moral dilemmas. With only eight episodes, On Call  managed to make a strong impression, with critics highlighting its authenticity, nuanced characters, and timely exploration of issues like the opioid crisis and mental health. No official word on why the series was cut short, our best guess -ratings strike again. Apparently, the show is being shopped around, mainly Peacock which is the home of Dick Wolf’s other shows like the Chicago shows and the Law and Order franchise. Fingers crossed from the fans that the show will find a new home. One season is not nearly enough to tell a good story.  Though On Call  has officially been canceled by Prime Video, its single season stands as a bold, emotional, and thought-provoking piece of storytelling. NBC has officially pulled the plug on The Irrational  after just two seasons and decided not to move forward with Suits: L.A. , the much-anticipated spinoff of the hit legal drama Suits , after its first season. The Irrational  Canceled After Season 2 Despite solid initial ratings and a unique premise, The Irrational , starring Jesse L. Martin as a behavioral science expert solving high-stakes crimes, will not return for a third season. NBC confirmed the cancellation today, citing a combination of declining viewership in Season 2 and shifting network priorities heading into the 2025–2026 TV season. The show premiered in September 2023 and drew attention for blending psychology with procedural storytelling. While it developed a loyal fan base and received positive feedback for Martin’s performance, the series struggled to maintain consistent ratings over time. Suits: L.A.  Dropped After One Season In a surprising move, NBC also opted not to renew Suits: L.A. , a spinoff created by Suits  creator Aaron Korsh. Set in Los Angeles and centered around a new character, Ted Black—a former federal prosecutor turned legal fixer—the show was positioned to reboot the Suits  brand for a new audience. NBC‘s Lopez vs. Lopez   Canceled…. In disappointing but not entirely surprising news, NBC has officially canceled Lopez vs. Lopez  after three seasons, according to a recent report by Deadline . The family sitcom, which starred and was co-created by comedy icon George Lopez  and his real-life daughter Mayan Lopez , has reached its end amid a wave of programming cuts across the network. The cancellation of Lopez vs. Lopez  follows closely on the heels of NBC’s decision to axe Night Court , pointing to a broader trend of budget reductions and reshuffling  at the network. Similar concerns have recently impacted other NBC staples, including Chicago Fire  and La Brea , as the network reevaluates its programming slate heading into the next broadcast cycle. NBC‘s Night Court Canceled…. That’s the end of the Night Court reboot as NBC has canceled the series after three seasons per Deadline.  Night Court  was a multi-camera comedy starring Melissa Rauch and a reboot of the original series from the 80s.  The reason behind the cancellation is budget cuts apparently. We have been seeing this across the board with NBC shows like Chicago Fire cutting cast The cancellation is reportedly due to financial reasons. NBC is reallocating resources in preparation for its NBA coverage next season, making several cost-cutting decisions across its programming slate. Although Night Court  began with strong ratings because people love a reboot, the fans started to tune out in recent months. All of this led to the unfortunate decision to axe the series.  There was reportedly a last-minute hope to renew Night Court  for a shortened fourth and final season. Those talks fell through. Networks giving last and final seasons are nods to the fans, so when that does not happen, it can feel like a gut punch. However, there is still hope the series could be picked up by another platform, with Warner Bros. Television potentially seeking a new home at another network.  The reboot starred Melissa Rauch ( The Big Bang Theory ) as Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Judge Harry Stone from the original show.  John Larroquette reprised his iconic role as Dan Fielding, the former night court prosecutor. The series also featured Nyambi Nyambi, Lacretta, and Wendie Malick. Marsha Warfield returned as Roz, one of the original cast members, in several episodes. Costa D’Angelo joins Hulu’s Tell Me Lies for next season, the third, according to Deadline. He will play the role of Alex, a contract series regular, who is a psychology grad student but slings that ish on the side. He will be connected to Cat Missal’s character Bree. There is more than meets the eye with Alex and fans will have to tune in to get the full picture.  The series  is based on the book from Carola Lovering. Full of lies, sex, betrayals, teens and drama, this show has everything we need. Other cast members include Tom Ellis (he may be busy with his new CBS series FBI:CIA, so who knows how much of a role he will play in the new season), Sonia Mena, Alicia Crowder, Spencer House, Sonia Mena and Branden Cook. Meaghan Oppenheimer will continue as showrunner and executive producer of the series.  Season 2 had two characters Stephen and Lucy breaking up and going back and forth all season. It will be interesting to see what role D’Angelo’s Alex will play in all the drama. He is no stranger to dramatic roles having starred in Australia soap operas, particularly ‘Neighbours’ where he quickly grew a fanbase. In fact American soap fans were hoping he would join General Hospital and take over the role of Spencer Cassadine previously played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez. D’Angelo himself saw all the posts and even said he would love to work on the soap but alas, the showrunners do not want to be great. General Hospital's loss is  Tell Me Lies  gain.  D’Angelo finished filming a role in the Netflix limited series, East of E den, starring Christopher Abbott and Florence Pugh. Well we lost two amazing Chefs last night on Next Level Chef. Who is headed to the Next Level Chef finals? Read on. The last five chefs left in the semi-finals had a hard task ahead of them. Recreate Gordon Ramsay’s famous dish Beef Wellington but the twist, you cannot use beef.  Chile…Whet Team Richard Blais was in it to win it with three of chefs from his team battling it out, so he for sure was going to the finals but Gordon and Nyesha Arrington had a tougher challenge ahead of them with one chef each. This has to be Blais' year, having not won yet…right? Brandon, who had the time token, took 10 seconds away from Beatrice, the biggest competition and she came for Team Blais and I felt him on that.  Beatrice was unfazed saying, “Quite frankly, it’s not going to help any of their team because I’m going to beat them out.” She was right as she advanced and eventually Bobby and Brandon were sent packing and earned top dish for her salmon plate along with Austin’s veal dish.  Brandon was the most talented chef there in my opinion and did not get enough credit for his dishes.  Heading to the finals Austin, Beatrice and Megan. Nyshea is out of the running and Gordon needs to lose at some point. Beatrice may be the favorite to win but I think Austin will come out on top. His story about having no job back home is hard to bury and Megan is a bit too much of an underdog to pull out a win.  Richard Blais has two chances to win this thing finally and we are on the edge of our seats.  Who do you think will win?
