When the family’s nanny falls seriously ill, Adam seizes the opportunity to embed himself deeper into their London home. But this is no ordinary tutor gig. As the series unfolds, Adam’s true, vengeful nature begins to surface, and suddenly the perfect family facade starts to crack under the pressure of his sinister influence. What makes Malice  such a gripping watch is how it balances character drama with a creeping sense of dread. The show wastes no time introducing the key players, and the writing smartly allows you to figure out who everyone is without bogging down the pacing. David Duchovny shines as Jamie Tanner, the patriarch whose life starts unraveling as Adam’s manipulations take hold. Carice van Houten brings her usual gravitas as Nat Tanner, Jamie’s wife, caught in the middle of the brewing storm. A social media post by a young woman, Emily Fogarty, tells about having dinner at a creepy billionaire’s home. She tells of him taking her to a dungeon in his house. The creepy billionaire, Craig Hollis Fintech CEO, and his lawyer/fixer with the Meridian Group, Anders Whitman, are talking about what happened with Emily. He shows him the safe room in his home. It’s not a dungeon like Emily described. Caig calls it a riot retreat, in case of social unrest. He says he took Emily there and they stayed there for four hours. Craig started explaining to Anders the room’s features, and the things he has stored in there from drones to a microwave temperature that can microwave a human body. Anders thinks it’s a bit of a diabolical place. Craig gets offended and goes haywire when Anders mentions Craig’s ex-wife, Kelly’s comments about his behavior.  He thinks they are trying to kick him out of his own company.  He locks Anders in the safe room, and.turns up the heat. Anders promises he won’t go to the authorities if he lets him out. In the other room, Craig searches through some of his equipment, but can’t find what he needs. All this time, Anders is sweating in the safe room. He yells to Craig that he got some minor burns, but at least he won’t go see a doctor. He just has to open the door. Craig finally opens the door and attacks Anders with a sledge hammer.  He knocks him to the floor and locks him in again. That’s the last time Anders is seen alive.  At the police station, Alec Bloom makes a surprise visit to see Elsbeth. He was in the neighborhood and came to ask her to come with him to a renovation fundraiser for the city law library. She doesn’t want to be gossiped about. Elsbeth is curious as to why, because she thought it was another publicity arranged date by Marissa. Alec assures it’s not, and would understand if she didn’t want to be seen with him in public. He’s being his irresistible charming self, and Elsbeth can’t resist.  Officer Nikki Reynolds is talking with a gentleman in the squad room. His name is Stu, a skip tracer, an insider term for processor.  He’s been looking for Anders Whittman, but can’t find him anywhere.  Stu came to the police to report him missing, but Officer Reynolds and Elsbeth think he’s dodging him. Stu would think that, too, except for a dog. He’s telling her about a neighbor who complained about hearing a dog in Anders’ apartment.  Captain Wagner gives them the authorization to send an officer out to check on the dog, but doesn’t warrant a missing person’s case.  Elsbeth and Officer Nikki go to Captain Wagner with a possible case proposal, and since Anders is a fixer with the Meridian Group/Crisis Management, an investigation might be necessary.  Wagner has a low opinion of that group of fixers. Lieutenant Connor enters Wagner’s office and states his opinion of them: intimidating assault victims, paid off officials, silenced witnesses, anything to protect the people who hire them.  Elsbeth and Officer Nikki are horrified.  Connor brings them Anders Whitman’s phone records, and finds out the last person Anders spoke with was Craig Harris.  Captain Wagner tells Officer Nikki and Elsbeth to go see Craig Harris, but Lieutenant Connors thinks it should be assigned to a detective. Wagner says it’s nothing and can be handled by Lieutenant Connor, Elsbeth and Officer Nikki.  Lieutenant Connor, Elsbeth and Officer Nikki get to Craig Harris’ mansion, and they ask him about Anders Whitman. He lies and tells them Anders cancelled their meeting. Elsbeth sees chocolates on a table and asks if she can have some. She snoops around chewing on the tasty treats.  Craig voices his irritation on how tech founders are treated. Lieutenant Connors understands Craig’s plight. Craig normally can’t stand humans, but can tolerate Connor.  He tells them he has an appointment, and sees them out.  What they don’t know is that Anders is downstairs in the safe room yelling for help. This story is an unusual one, one that oddly reflects current times. The show changes the standard format this time. It begins with an investigation before there’s a murder victim. There’s a dog, fruit flies, Swiss chocolates, deranged tech CEO, Lieutenant Connor, a social media post by a terrified ex-girlfriend, a nuclear-grade, tech enhanced safe room with a kidnapped victim, and a new police officer, Officer Nikki. All make for a very interesting, eerily realistic story. The weird, intimidating, paranoid perpetrator toys with his live victim. Also, Elsbeth’s budding romance continues with a politician, Alec. A curious “art imitating life" parallel with “The Great Gatsby” book reference is evident. The book is a literal digital key to the safe room, unknown to the intrepid police crew.  It draws Elsbeth’s attention several times, and is a crystal clear depiction of the life of wealthy people, the corrupting influence of money and how the rich insulate themselves from consequences of their behavior. Toss in Alec’s fundraiser event was for Judge Milton Crawford, Elsbeth’s nemesis. She gets to meet his widow.  Does the kidnapped victim live? How did Elsbeth’s date go? Does Craig Harris get arrested?  Does Elsbeth finally talk with Judge Crawford’s widow?  Why did they go to an escape room, and do they escape? Did anyone check on Anders’ dog?  How do fruit flies solve the case?  All pertinent questions that  weave a story of intrigue with frightful results that can be answered when you watch the show. It was impressive with a hint of a possible new nemesis for Elsbeth.  This was a Great Episode, and I gave it 5 out of 5 Stars .

Grey’s Anatomy dropped its midseason finale with the subtlety of a defibrillator to the chest and honestly girl can you believe any of these people are allowed to work in a hospital. Season 22 Episode 6 was chaotic emotional ridiculous and deliciously dramatic which is exactly the energy Seattle’s messiest surgeons always bring right before they vanish for winter break. From Jo’s heart staging a full rebellion to Richard breaking everyone’s spirits with one quiet confession this episode was a reminder that Grey’s still has the chokehold strength of early day MerDer angst. Jo opened the hour pretending she was totally fine while clearly struggling to catch a breath like she had just run a marathon she did not train for. Link tried to act calm but he absolutely called in the full cardiothoracic cavalry which included Winston. After the EKG Jo learned she has peripartum cardiomyopathy which is essentially her heart filing a complaint against twin pregnancy. Winston tried medication. They tried a pump. Her heart said no thank you and put in its two week notice. (Disney/Anne Marie Fox) CAMILLA LUDDINGTON With Jo declining Winston moved her into surgery and Link instantly turned into the human embodiment of an anxious chihuahua. Winston was confident at first because he has done this procedure more times than anyone can count. Naturally this is Grey’s Anatomy so a complication popped up faster than a trauma page forcing Winston to perform a C section he had not done in years. The episode cut out the exact second he made the first incision because the writers love emotional violence and refuse to let us breathe. Jo better make it through this because fans have endured enough heartbreak to last several lifetimes. Elsewhere Bailey and Richard spent the episode verbally sparring like two exhausted icons who have absolutely had it with each other. Bailey called Richard out for canceling her seminar without even a courtesy text and the tension followed them straight into surgery. Bailey was ready to call time of death while Richard demanded they keep pushing. After Bailey saved the patient she marched to his office ready to enjoy her victory lap only for Richard to pull the rug out with a quiet I have cancer. It was brutal heartbreaking and delivered with the kind of calm resignation that made the moment even more painful. The Owen Teddy Nora triangle remained a soap opera fever dream. Teddy walked in on Owen and Nora in bed which led to his daughters interrogating Nora with the intensity of seasoned detectives. Teddy tried to stay zen but Nora dropped the twist that her medical conditions will require constant interaction with Teddy. Owen looked stressed. Teddy looked over it. Nora looked like she needed emotional hazard pay. Simone and Wes teamed up to treat a nonverbal autistic boy which briefly made Wes look shockingly human. Simone was impressed for about ten minutes until Wes decided the perfect moment to ask her out was inside a supply closet because of course he did. She shut him down which means her pact with Jules remains strong and Seattle is spared at least one workplace romance disaster. Kwan and Dr Mohanty on the other hand fully embraced the disaster energy. After a long day and a complicated plastics case they found themselves alone in an elevator and the moment he hit the stop button the entire Grey’s fanbase collectively screamed because nothing PG ever follows that move. They kissed and it was dramatic messy and absolutely the kind of elevator chaos that fuels this show. Grey’s Anatomy ended its midseason finale with Jo’s life and the twins hanging in the balance plus a mountain of relationship turmoil and Richard’s devastating diagnosis casting a shadow over Grey Sloan. When the season returns the emotional damage will no doubt be top tier and honestly we would not have it any other way. If the back half of Season 22 brings this same level of drama it might be time for viewers to start hydrating and stretching because Grey’s is clearly not playing gentle this year.

When it comes to family holiday movies, the right mix of heart, humor, and just enough mischief can make or break the festive spirit. Dog Patrol Operation Santa Paws  promises all that and more, and young actor Paxton Kubitz  is at the center of the chaos and charm. The TV Cave sat down with Kubitz to uncover what it was like to star alongside Cuba Gooding Jr., bond with the movie’s four-legged star Athena, and bring a sense of adventure to a story that is sure to delight kids and adults alike. Kubitz, who plays the plucky Samuel, didn’t waste any time capturing our attention with his infectious enthusiasm. He explained that landing the role was a moment of pure serendipity. "I auditioned like I normally do," Kubitz recalled, eyes lighting up. "I got called in for a callback and did a chemistry read with my good friend Santiago. At the end, the director said we already had the part. I was ecstatic." That kind of instant connection rarely translates so smoothly from audition room to screen, but Kubitz clearly carried that excitement into every scene. Samuel is the kind of character who makes audiences root for him immediately. “He has a taste for adventure,” Kubitz said. “He loves going on adventures with his friends, and he takes some risks. It makes the role really fun to play.” And if there is one thing that elevates Dog Patrol Operation Santa Paws  beyond a typical holiday movie, it is the bond between Samuel and Athena, the lovable dog who shares the spotlight. “Athena is amazing,” Kubitz said. “Off-set we were always petting her. She was always in the room, and we had a really fun time with her, which translates to the movie. We immediately fell in love with her and knew how to work with her naturally.” Of course, no family adventure movie would be complete without a seasoned co-star to provide gravitas and comedic timing. Enter Cuba Gooding Jr. Kubitz’s excitement about acting alongside the Oscar winner was palpable. “When I first heard he would be playing my dad, I could not believe it. He is my favorite in Radio ,” Kubitz confessed. “He always improvised his lines, and you never knew what he would say, but it was always hilarious. I learned so much from him, and I am really grateful for the experience.” Filming brought its own set of thrills and challenges, particularly during a high-energy bike chase that Kubitz fondly remembers. “We had this amazing bike scene where we were trying to get to a location fast,” he said. “The camera crew filmed us from a truck while we rode. It was super fun, and I think it will be one of my favorite scenes in the movie.” Emotional moments were another hurdle, requiring Kubitz to tap into his own experiences to deliver authentic performances. “Some scenes were emotionally challenging,” he said. “It was tough, but it ended up turning out really great.” Above all, Kubitz hopes audiences walk away with the magic of the holiday season firmly in their hearts. “I hope families have a great time watching it,” he said. “I hope it gets them into the Christmas spirit and that they love it as much as I do.” Dog Patrol Operation Santa Paws  might just be the holiday adventure families have been waiting for, with Kubitz’s charisma leading the way, a dog that steals every scene, and Cuba Gooding Jr. adding his trademark charm. Ghosts  continues to deliver laughs and heart in Season 5 Episode 5, “T-Daddy." The episode dives into Trevor’s new found relationship with his daughter Abby while giving Jay a hilarious lesson in labor management at his restaurant. Packed with misunderstandings, Porsche-induced envy, and poetic dreams, “T-Daddy” proves once again that Ghosts  knows how to mix heartfelt storytelling with absurd humor. The episode opens with Trevor making a grand gesture for Abby by buying her a Porsche. Instead of swooning over the car, Abby is unimpressed. Enter Sam, who immediately falls in love with the car’s luxury and goes a little overboard taking it for joyrides. Things spiral when Sam mishears Abby’s intentions. Thinking Abby wants to study finance instead of poetry in France, Sam shares the news with Trevor, who offers to pay for tuition without hesitation. Chaos ensues when the truth comes out and Abby reveals her real plan to study poetry overseas. Trevor’s horror is palpable, and his attempts to redirect her dreams lead to some genuinely funny and awkward moments, including using Jay’s sister Bela as a cautionary tale. As usual, Sam ends up being the voice of reason. She tells Abby the truth about Trevor’s meddling, sparking a minor father-daughter showdown. In one of the episode’s more poignant moments, Sam explains that she sympathizes with Abby because she experienced a controlling parent herself. It’s classic Ghosts : silly setups with surprisingly tender payoffs. Meanwhile, Jay’s subplot gives the episode a second comedic layer. The restaurant staff demand raises, and Jay explains that he and Sam are barely keeping things afloat. That explanation goes out the window once the staff sees Sam enjoying the Porsche, and the employees go on strike. What follows is a series of hilarious maneuvers, including a flashback showing Hetty’s method for managing her child workers, which inspires Jay to solve the labor crisis by creating ridiculous titles instead of paying money. It is absurd, smart, and very Ghosts . The resolution of both storylines is satisfying. Abby asserts her independence and plans to study in France while Trevor finally supports her decision, selling the Porsche in the process. Jay ends the strike without spending a dime, keeping the chaos intact but the storylines neatly tied up. Yet the episode leaves tantalizing questions: Will Sam and Jay’s ongoing financial struggles become a season-long arc? Will Trevor intervene with his wealth again? And what’s next for Isaac, Alberta, and Pete? Sadly no Thor or Sass this episode. “T-Daddy” is another solid entry in Ghosts  Season 5. It showcases the show’s ability to blend humor, heartfelt family drama, and supernatural quirkiness without feeling overstuffed. The pacing is sharp, the jokes land consistently, and the performances, especially Trevor’s panicked dad energy, are pitch-perfect. For fans of Ghosts , “T-Daddy” is a must-watch episode. With Trevor facing parenting challenges, Jay navigating worker unrest, and Sam keeping everything grounded, this episode offers a perfect example of why Ghosts  continues to be one of the most charming and hilarious comedies on television.

NBC has confirmed that actress and television host Melissa Peterman will lead its primetime Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025  special. The broadcast will air Wednesday, November 26 at 8 p.m. ET, with a simulcast on Peacock, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation for one of the nation’s most-watched holiday events. The NBC Thanksgiving special will feature segments on the inflation and launch of the parade’s giant character balloons, the construction of elaborate floats, and interviews with performers set to appear in the main parade. The wasteland is calling again and this time Lucy MacLean is packing more than just optimism and a shiny Vault jumpsuit. The newly dropped Fallout  Season 2 trailer from Prime Video gives fans their first explosive look at the next chapter of the post apocalyptic hit. The footage teases a vengeful road trip through the Mojave that looks every bit as violent, stylish, and darkly funny as fans hoped.
