Yellowjackets Final Season Sets November Premiere Date as First Teaser Arrives

The wilderness may be behind them, but Yellowjackets has never been particularly interested in letting anyone simply move on.

Paramount+ has officially announced that Yellowjackets will return for its fourth and final season on Friday, November 20, 2026, exclusively for Paramount+ Premium subscribers. Along with the premiere date, the streamer released the first teaser for the final season, giving fans their first taste of how this wonderfully twisted story plans to reach the finish line.

And apparently, the Yellowjackets are finally going home. Because surely that will solve everything, right?

The Yellowjackets Are Going Home in Season 4

The final season will follow the team as they finally make their way back home following their nightmare in the wilderness. Of course, anyone who has watched three seasons of Yellowjackets knows that rescue was never going to magically erase what happened out there.

As the survivors attempt to bury their sins before rescue arrives, the official description also teases the return of an old flame who comes back into town with plans of her own. Paramount+ warns that not every homecoming is a happy one, which feels like a fairly polite way of describing what is probably waiting for these women.

The series has spent its run bouncing between the teenage Yellowjackets fighting to survive after their plane crash and their adult counterparts dealing with the consequences nearly 25 years later. With the final season bringing the younger survivors home, the show is getting closer than ever to connecting those two timelines and potentially answering some of the questions fans have been carrying since Season 1.

A Familiar Cast Returns for the Final Chapter

Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress return alongside Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Sophie Thatcher. Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya and Jenna Burgess are also returning.

Two time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank will also be part of the final season, giving Yellowjackets another major player as the series prepares to wrap up its story.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers, Yellowjackets debuted as a survival drama but quickly became something much stranger and darker, mixing psychological horror, coming of age drama and one seriously complicated friendship group.

Now there is only one season left to explain exactly how the girls went from stranded soccer players to the women we met decades later.

After everything Yellowjackets has put these characters through, expecting a peaceful homecoming feels wildly optimistic.
