What to Watch November 2: ‘St. Denis Medical,’ ‘Holiday Baking’ & ‘Reggie Dinkins’

Monday is bringing the laughs, the competition and a little Disney magic. St. Denis Medical returns for Season 3, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins kicks off its second season, and Dancing with the Stars moves to a special Monday night for a Broadway-inspired Disney celebration.
Meanwhile, The Voice faces a major elimination round, Holiday Baking Championship officially kicks off Christmas baking season, and CBS has fresh investigations on FBI and CIA. November is only two days old, and the television schedule is already refusing to give us a quiet night.
TV Cave Top Pick: St. Denis Medical
Our TV Cave Top Pick is St. Denis Medical, returning tonight at 8 PM ET on NBC with its Season 3 premiere, “He Ain't Noah Wyle.”
The underfunded Oregon hospital is back in business, and its employees are still proving that keeping patients alive might be easier than keeping their personal lives together. Ron is recovering from medical leave, but his temporary replacement, Dr. Highland, played by Damon Wayans, has already made himself comfortable. Naturally, Alex isn't thrilled with the situation, and Ron probably won't be handing out any welcome-back hugs.
Elsewhere, Matt and Serena must figure out what their relationship looks like now that they've finally crossed the friendship line, while Joyce is busy campaigning for a hospital administrator award. Because when your hospital is constantly operating on the edge of disaster, there's no better time to focus on collecting trophies. With Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman and David Alan Grier leading the ensemble, the comedy returns with plenty of workplace chaos.

Reggie Dinkins Returns, and Disney Takes Over the Ballroom
Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe are back for Season 2 of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, and Reggie's comeback plans are still a work in progress. In “We Keep the Kisses,” Reggie and Monica find themselves navigating new opportunities while Carmelo's relationship threatens to create another headache for the family. Considering Reggie's track record, the documentary crew probably won't have to work very hard to find material.
Over on ABC, Dancing with the Stars is switching nights ahead of Tuesday's election coverage, bringing Disney Night to Monday at 8 PM. The remaining eight couples will perform routines inspired by Disney's Broadway productions, with Cynthia Erivo joining the judging panel. Expect music from The Lion King, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast and more, plus team dances that should give the competition another opportunity to get messy in the most entertaining way possible.
Holiday Baking, FBI Drama and a Big Night for The Voice
Food Network is wasting no time getting into the Christmas spirit as Holiday Baking Championship returns for Season 13. Jesse Palmer welcomes 12 bakers to Santa's Village, where they'll be divided into the Elf Squad and Reindeer Crew before eventually competing individually for the $25,000 grand prize. Halloween candy is barely out of the bowl, and we're already discussing gingerbread and holiday desserts.
CBS brings the action with FBI, where an attack on a prison transport vehicle sends dangerous prisoners on the run. CIA follows with a stolen artificial intelligence model threatening national security, while Harlan Coben's Final Twist investigates the deaths of a Nashville couple whose murder exposes disturbing secrets.
At 9 PM, The Voice enters Cut Week, putting the remaining artists through another high-stakes round as the coaches make some of their toughest decisions of the season. For a different kind of chaos, Foul Play with Anthony Davis returns to TBS with elaborate celebrity pranks involving Tyrann Mathieu, Mark Cuban and Jamal Murray.
And for anyone ready to trade Halloween scares for Christmas romance, The Holiday Spark premieres on The Roku Channel with Joey Graziadei and Jamie Chung. The former Bachelor star plays a firefighter who teams up with a children's book illustrator to organize a holiday celebration, only to discover that romance might be part of the festivities.
With two NBC comedy premieres, Disney Night, a major singing competition shake-up and enough crime investigations to fill an entire police precinct, Monday has plenty of reasons to stay in. Our Top Pick goes to St. Denis Medical, because sometimes the best medicine is watching fictional hospital employees make a complete mess of their own lives.
