The Bold and the Beautiful: Electra Crosses a Line With Dylan Over Will

Young woman with shoulder-length brown hair in a cream blouse and necklace, standing in a wood-paneled room, looking serious.

Electra Forrester is angry with Dylan over Will Spencer, and honestly, she has every right to have feelings about everything that has happened. But on Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Electra took those feelings straight into Forrester Creations and crossed a pretty big line.

Electra confronted her former friend over Dylan’s growing relationship with Will, making it clear that she sees Dylan getting involved with him as a betrayal. Dylan, however, wasn’t exactly interested in accepting all of the blame. She reminded Electra of one very important detail: Electra was the one who ended her relationship with Will and moved out.

And there's really no arguing with that part. Things between Will and Dylan have clearly moved beyond friendship. The two recently spent the night together, and Dylan has admitted that her feelings for Will are real. That understandably stings for Electra considering Dylan was once her friend, but being hurt and being someone's boss or at least acting like you are; are two very different things.

That's where Electra lost us. During the confrontation, Electra brought Dylan's job at Forrester into the argument and leaned heavily on the power of her family name. She made it clear that being a Forrester gives her influence over whether Dylan continues working for the company.

Ma'am. What are we doing? Being furious that your former friend slept with your ex? Fair. Questioning whether Dylan had feelings for Will while you were still together? Also fair. Using the Forrester name and threatening someone's paycheck because you're mad about your personal life? That's where this went completely off the rails.

It also comes at an interesting time for Electra professionally. Forrester Creations has been positioning her for a bigger role as the company looks toward its youth line. If Electra wants to be taken seriously in the family business, throwing around the Forrester name during a personal confrontation isn't exactly the best way to start.

Dylan, meanwhile, still expressed interest in repairing their friendship, but Electra wasn't interested. At this point, that friendship may be beyond saving, especially with Will standing directly in the middle of it.

And Dylan has problems coming from another direction, too. Katie has made no secret of the fact that she doesn't trust her around Will, questioning Dylan's motives and even asking to meet the mother who raised her. Dylan agreed, setting the stage for her mother Darcy's arrival in Los Angeles.

So Electra may want Dylan gone, Katie wants answers and Dylan isn't backing away from Will. This little triangle is getting a lot messier but if Electra wants viewers on her side, she might want to leave Dylan's employment out of the next argument.
