Prime Video’s Danger Money Adds Alex Kingston, Iain Glen and More to Ray Winstone Series

Prime Video is putting together quite the cast for its upcoming action-comedy Danger Money.

The six-part series has officially begun production in Malta, with Ray Winstone leading the cast as a former SAS operative who gets pulled back into a dangerous world decades after a botched mission. And now, the series has added several familiar faces who should make this one worth keeping on the radar.

Joining Winstone are Alex Kingston, Iain Glen, Mimi Keene, Arian Nik, Kara Tointon, Sean Pertwee and Oliver Maltman.

Kingston will be especially familiar to Doctor Who fans, while Glen is best known to many viewers for his role as Jorah Mormont on Game of Thrones. Keene previously appeared in Sex Education, giving Danger Money a cast with plenty of television recognition before the series has even premiered.

The series comes from the creators of The Tourist, Harry and Jack Williams, with the story following Winstone's former SAS operative as he is dragged back into a world he thought he had left behind.

Production is now underway in Malta, with Prime Video confirming the series as a six-part action-comedy. The combination of action, comedy and a veteran cast gives Danger Money a pretty interesting setup, particularly with Winstone front and center.

Details surrounding some of the characters are still being kept under wraps, so there is plenty we don't know about the story just yet. That's probably intentional, considering the series appears to have a healthy dose of mystery built into its premise.

What we do know is that Danger Money is shaping up to be one of those Prime Video projects that could sneak onto viewers' radar once the first trailer arrives.

With Winstone leading the way and Kingston, Glen, Keene, Pertwee and the rest of the ensemble joining him, Prime Video certainly isn't starting small.

Now we just need a release date. At the moment, Danger Money is in production, so viewers will have to wait for Prime Video to announce when the series will premiere. But with cameras officially rolling in Malta, this one is officially on the TV Cave watch list.
