The truth is out there… and apparently, it’s in the Joshua Tree desert.

Pluto TV is offering one lucky superfan and their chosen partner, the chance to disappear into an undisclosed off-grid location for nine days to marathon all 11 seasons of The X-Files. That’s right: 218 episodes of Mulder, Scully, aliens, shadowy conspiracies, and zero outside distractions.

The experience is designed for maximum X-Phile immersion. Participants will have a living case board to track connections, themed provisions like black coffee, sunflower seeds, and paranormal paraphernalia, and daily on-camera confessionals to document every theory and suspicion. Some details remain classified, because no X-Files experience would be complete without a few secrets.

The X-Files lands differently today,” said Will Gurman. “It’s binge-worthy supernatural storytelling that built one of TV’s most passionate fan communities. With all 11 seasons free on Pluto TV, fans can truly disappear into the show for days.”

The contest opens March 10 at 11:00 AM ET and closes March 20 at 11:59 PM ET, and entrants can sign up at the official contest site.

For fans who can’t make the desert trek, all 11 seasons—including the 2016 revival—are streaming free on Pluto TV, plus there’s a dedicated 24/7 linear channel in the Sci-Fi category.

The ultimate marathon kicks off Monday, April 20, giving true believers everywhere the chance to binge like Mulder and Scully themselves. Whether you’re trekking the desert or just curled up on your couch, it’s time to stock up on coffee, grab your tinfoil hat, and dive deep into conspiracies, aliens, and a nostalgia-soaked marathon that only Pluto TV could deliver.

And of course, The TV Cave will be following every twist, turn, and alien abduction along the way. We’ll keep you updated on contest winners, fan reactions, and anything weird or wonderfully weird that comes out of the desert. Stay tuned, true believers, because when it comes to The X-Files, there’s always more lurking just beyond the trailer.
