Paramount+ Renews Four Fan-Favorite BET Studios Series for New Seasons

Paramount+ is keeping the drama going. The streamer, in partnership with BET Studios, has officially renewed four popular series for additional seasons, giving fans more of the family secrets, relationship drama and intrigue they clearly can’t get enough of.

The renewal news includes Carl Weber’s The Black Hamptons for Season 3, The Family Business for Season 7, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas for Season 3 and Tyler Perry’s Zatima for Season 6. For fans who have been following these shows season after season, the announcements mean there are plenty more complicated relationships and family conflicts ahead.

The Black Hamptons Renewed for Season 3

The Black Hamptons will return for a 10-episode third season. Based on Carl Weber’s novel, the series follows the Britton family as tensions rise after the arrival of the Johnsons in the upscale Black community of Sag Harbor, New York. The drama stars Lamman Rucker, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Elise Neal, Brian White, Karon Riley and Mike Merrill. Carl Weber, ND Brown Jones and Trey Haley serve as executive producers.

The Family Business Gets Season 7

The Duncan family isn't going anywhere just yet. The Family Business has been renewed for Season 7, which will consist of 10 episodes. The series centers on the wealthy Duncan family and their New York-based criminal enterprise, where business can be dangerous and family loyalty remains a top priority.

The Season 7 cast includes Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin Dewitt, Javicia Leslie, Tami Roman, Sean Ringgold, Michael Jai White, Arrington Foster and Lisa Raye McCoy. Carl Weber, ND Brown Jones, Trey Haley and Ernie Hudson executive produce.

Divorced Sistas and Zatima Return

Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas has also scored a Season 3 renewal, with 16 new episodes on the way. The upcoming season promises to put its central group of women through even more emotional challenges after years of deception and secrets begin coming to light.

The series stars LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, Jennifer Sears, DeVon Franklin, RonReaco Lee and Robert Christopher Riley. Tyler Perry created, directed, wrote and executive produced the series.

Meanwhile, Tyler Perry’s Zatima has been renewed for Season 6, also consisting of 16 episodes. The new season will continue following Zac and Fatima as they fight to protect their family while navigating love, loss, forgiveness and

reconciliation.

The series stars DeVale Ellis, Crystal Reneé Hayslett, Nzinga Imani, Remington Hoffman, Cameron Fuller and Guyviaud Joseph. Tyler Perry created and executive produces the series.

Paramount+ has not yet announced premiere dates for any of the four newly renewed seasons. For now, fans can celebrate knowing that The Black Hamptons, The Family Business, Divorced Sistas and Zatima all have more stories ahead.
