‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed: Joanne and Noah Take Their Next Big Step

Joanne and Noah are ready to take another big step in their relationship, and we finally know when we'll get to watch it happen.

Nobody Wants This Season 3 will premiere Thursday, October 22 on Netflix, bringing Kristen Bell and Adam Brody back as Joanne and Noah. Along with finally setting a return date for the hit romantic comedy, Netflix has unveiled the first photos from the upcoming season and revealed new details about where its complicated collection of relationships is headed next.

After recommitting to their relationship at the end of Season 2, Joanne and Noah will begin Season 3 in a much more settled place. The couple is moving into a home together and embracing the many firsts that come with trying to build a shared life.

Of course, this is Nobody Wants This, so we're guessing domestic bliss won't suddenly make all of their differences disappear.

Season 2 spent plenty of time exploring the lingering question of Joanne converting to Judaism and what that decision would mean for both her identity and Noah's future. Noah eventually left his temple in search of a more inclusive community, while Joanne's perspective on faith began to evolve. Their relationship survived another round of growing pains, but moving in together presents an entirely new set of challenges for Season 3.

They're hardly the only characters whose love lives are getting complicated. Sasha and Esther will find themselves navigating the dating world after their marriage reached its breaking point in Season 2. Meanwhile, Morgan is taking her career to another level and moving closer to becoming a media sensation. There's also the unresolved connection between Morgan and Sasha, with the two apparently continuing to circle around feelings neither has been willing to fully acknowledge.

That should make things interesting. Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn are all returning, alongside Shiloh Bearman, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Paul Ben-Victor and Tovah Feldshuh.

Season 3 is also adding several new faces. Andrew Rannells and Keyla Monterroso Mejia will recur as Sebastien and Amber, two of Joanne's classmates as she explores conversion. Sarah Silverman joins them as Rabbi Eden, their Intro to Judaism teacher.

Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig and Steven Weber will guest-star during the season, while series creator Erin Foster is also set to appear.

Netflix has not released the Season 3 trailer yet, so there's still plenty we don't know about exactly how these new relationships and living arrangements will play out. The first details, however, suggest the series isn't abandoning the central question that has driven Joanne and Noah's story from the beginning: how much can two people change their lives for one another without losing the things that made them who they are?

Season 1 was about Joanne and Noah unexpectedly falling for each other. Season 2 asked whether they could actually make that relationship work once reality set in. Now Season 3 gets to explore something potentially even messier — what happens when you stop talking about building a life together and actually start doing it.
