MobLand Season 2 Premiere Date Revealed as Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan Return to Paramount+

Four stylish adults walk through a modern lounge, led by a woman holding a tool, with calm, determined expressions.

The Harrigans are officially back in business, and if season one proved anything, it's that this family never handles problems with a calm conversation. Paramount+ has announced that MobLand Season 2 premieres on September 18, bringing back Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren for another round of power plays, shifting alliances, and plenty of bloodshed.

After an explosive first season that kept viewers guessing from episode to episode, the crime drama returns with ten new episodes that promise to raise the stakes for everyone caught in the Harrigan family's orbit. Yes, girl, the wait finally has an end date.

Season two finds the Harrigan empire looking far less secure than before. Outside threats are closing in while cracks within the family continue to grow. That's especially bad news for Harry da Souza (Tom Hardy), the loyal fixer who once again finds himself trying to keep everyone alive while balancing impossible loyalties. If season one taught us anything, it's that Harry rarely gets a quiet day at the office.

Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren also return as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, the calculating leaders of the family whose ambitions continue to shape every dangerous decision. Their performances were among the biggest highlights of the first season, delivering characters who were as fascinating as they were intimidating. Watching Brosnan step away from his polished leading-man image remains one of the show's biggest surprises, while Mirren continues to remind everyone why she's one of the most commanding performers working today.

The returning ensemble is equally impressive, with Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones all set to appear in the new season. That level of talent gives the series plenty of room to continue expanding its web of betrayals and shifting allegiances.

If you somehow missed the series when it debuted, now is the perfect opportunity to catch up before the MobLand Season 2 premiere date arrives. All episodes from season one are currently available to stream on Paramount+, giving newcomers plenty of time to meet the Harrigans before everything inevitably goes sideways again.

September 18 can't get here soon enough. The Harrigans are back, Harry da Souza has another impossible mess to clean up, and judging by what's been revealed so far, nobody should expect a peaceful family reunion.
