‘Beyond the Gates’ Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed — Plus What’s Coming Next

Fairmont Crest isn't slowing down anytime soon.
CBS has officially set the Beyond the Gates Season 3 premiere for Tuesday, December 29, confirming that the daytime drama will roll into another season before the end of 2026. Before that happens, however, there is plenty of unfinished business ahead as Season 2 continues through the fall.
CBS offered a surprisingly detailed look at what's coming for the Duprees and the rest of Fairmont Crest as part of its announcement for the network's 2026 daytime lineup. From troubled marriages and new romances to family battles and a mysterious threat hanging over the community, it sounds like Beyond the Gates plans to keep its foot firmly on the gas.
Anita will encounter trouble as she works toward The Articulette's revival, while Vernon receives news that brings something from the past back into his life. Considering how much history surrounds the Dupree family, anything capable of shaking Vernon is immediately worth keeping an eye on.
Dani and Andre aren't getting an easy road as newlyweds, either. Their marriage will hit turbulence as tensions involving Bill and Hayley continue pulling Dani deeper into her ex-husband's orbit. Dani and Bill have never exactly mastered the art of staying out of each other's business, so Andre may have every reason to be concerned about where this is heading.
Elsewhere in the Dupree family, Martin will step up to defend his family after Smitty suffers what CBS describes as a “devastating public blow.” Whatever happens will also put Naomi and Jacob on opposing sides, potentially spreading the fallout well beyond Martin and Smitty's relationship.
At least some people in Fairmont Crest are finding time for romance amid all the trouble. Ted and Shanice will take their relationship to the next level despite attempts at sabotage, while Nicole is apparently ready for something more with Kial.
Chelsea will lean on Madison as she and Kat find themselves unable to escape a scandal, while Vanessa and Joey's relationship creates even more problems with Vanessa's daughter, Deanna. With that many relationships being tested at once, Fairmont Crest probably shouldn't expect a particularly peaceful holiday season.
And apparently, those personal problems aren't the only thing everyone should be worried about.
CBS is teasing a larger threat on the horizon that could turn the entire community upside down. The network isn't revealing exactly what that means yet, but with Season 3 beginning December 29, it certainly sounds like the final stretch of Season 2 could be setting up something much bigger.
Beyond the Gates has quickly become an important part of CBS' daytime lineup since its debut, earning 15
Daytime Emmy nominations this year. Now we know the Duprees aren't going anywhere when the calendar turns toward 2027, even if life inside those Fairmont Crest gates is about to get considerably more complicated.
Beyond the Gates Season 3 premieres Tuesday, December 29 on CBS. New episodes continue airing weekdays ahead of the Season 3 premiere and are also available to stream on Paramount+.
