What to Watch November 3: ‘Doc,’ ‘Best Medicine’ & Election Night 2026

Election Day is here, and ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS are setting aside their usual primetime programming for live election coverage. FOX is keeping its medical dramas on the schedule, while Netflix offers a supernatural Western and a Mike Tyson comedy special.

If you're looking for Dancing with the Stars, it aired Monday instead of tonight. The competition returns to its regular Tuesday slot November 10.

TV Cave Top Pick: Doc

Our Top Pick is Doc, airing at 9 PM ET on FOX with Season 3, Episode 6, “Facade.” Amy and Jake work together to treat a patient whose hidden past puts her life in danger. Meanwhile, Ben faces a funding crisis involving his artificial heart trial, and Sonya's relationship with TJ gets complicated by a family visit.

Amy has enough trouble managing her own complicated history, so another patient with dangerous secrets is hardly going to make her evening easier. It's exactly the kind of medical and personal drama that keeps Doc interesting.

FOX Keeps the Drama Going

Before Doc, Best Medicine returns at 8 PM as Martin investigates a series of supposedly miraculous cures in Port Wenn. The return of self-proclaimed homeopath Savannah creates another headache for the doctor, who would probably appreciate living in a town where people occasionally listen to medical professionals.

Disney+ also continues VisionQuest at 9 PM with its penultimate episode. Vision must confront his past as the Marvel series approaches its conclusion, setting the stage for what promises to be an important final chapter.

Netflix and Hulu Offer More Options

Netflix premieres Bass X Machina, an animated supernatural Western featuring the voices of Brian Tyree Henry and Janelle Monáe. The series follows a father navigating a dangerous world filled with outlaws, powerful machines and supernatural threats.

Mike Tyson also takes the stage in Return of the Mike, a comedy special exploring his turbulent life through stories and humor. Hulu, meanwhile, has new episodes of Reasonable Doubt and Phony, along with the Season 2 premiere of High Country.

With election coverage dominating broadcast television, tonight's entertainment choices are a little different from the usual

Tuesday lineup. Doc earns our Top Pick, but Netflix and Disney+ have plenty to offer anyone looking for an escape from the political coverage.
