Just when you thought The Ms. Pat Show couldn’t get any louder, messier, or more gloriously unfiltered, Season 5 slides in with a trailer that says otherwise, loudly. BET+ has officially dropped the ‘Ms. Pat Show’ Season 5 trailer and confirmed the January 7, 2026 premiere date, and if the footage is any indication, Pat Carson is doing the most… again. And paying for it. Literally and medically.

The trailer teases a season that’s bigger, bolder, and packed with enough guest stars to make your DVR sweat. Season 5 welcomes Raven-Symoné, Tisha Campbell, Tristan “Mack” Wilds, Omeretta, Sandra Caldwell, Loretta Devine, and yes, that SWV all stepping into Pat’s chaotic orbit. The trailer gives quick but juicy peeks at Campbell, Raven-Symoné, and Devine, and the energy suggests none of them showed up to play nice. Add in the return of series co-creator Jordan E. Cooper as Sadiq Shay, and it’s clear the show is leaning hard into its roots while still upping the ante.

Episode details reveal that Season 5 wastes zero time jumping straight into Pat-induced mayhem. In the premiere, Episode 501, “Killin’ and Dyin’,” Pat pushes herself so hard she literally faints and is ordered to rest an instruction she immediately ignores. Determined to perform at a major comedy show alongside a big-name star (hello, Raven-Symoné), Pat ropes Junebug into covering for her. Naturally, this plan goes sideways, because when has anything involving Junebug ever gone smoothly?

Episode 502, “Wild Goose Chase,” somehow raises the stakes by turning a simple yard sale into a full-blown emotional scavenger hunt. When Lloyd’s ashes and final words plus a deeply personal video meant only for Pat and Terry are accidentally sold, the family goes into recovery mode. Nothing says wholesome sitcom fun like desperately trying to buy back your dead relative’s remains.

Then there’s Episode 503, “License and Registration?”, where Janelle is stressed over college registration chaos, Terry dials his overprotective dad energy to eleven, and Junebug… steals and crashes a car. Protect the children? Maybe start with protecting Junebug from himself.

Five seasons in, The Ms. Pat Show still refuses to sand down its edges, and that’s exactly why it works. The Season 5 trailer promises celebrity cameos, escalating family dysfunction, and Pat doing what she does best saying the quiet part out loud. With its January 7, 2026 BET+ premiere locked in, one thing is clear: rest may be recommended, but chaos remains mandatory.
