Woman and man face each other tensely in a bright kitchen, arms crossed and hands clasped, mid-conversation with serious expressions

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) set her sights on recruiting Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) for Logan Designs, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) stood firmly behind his relationship with Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock), and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) found herself caught in a baby scheme with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that is destined to blow up in their faces. Meanwhile, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) continued navigating her complicated family relationships, and Zende struggled with his future at Forrester Creations.

Katie Puts Dylan to the Test

Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) made it clear that his feelings for Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) were serious, refusing to let his mother, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom), dictate whom he could love. Will wanted Melissa Dylan to feel welcome at Logan Designs, but Katie was not ready to embrace her son's new girlfriend.

Katie questioned Melissa Dylan's loyalty and wondered whether she could be a spy for Forrester Creations. Melissa Dylan tried to avoid creating conflict between Will and his mother, but Will stood his ground and insisted that Katie accept their relationship.

Katie soon turned her suspicions into a calculated business move. She wanted Melissa Dylan to approach Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) about joining Logan Designs, making it clear that earning Katie's approval would require proving her loyalty. Melissa Dylan suddenly found herself caught between her boyfriend's family and the fashion business.

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Zende remained bitter about the loss of Hope for the Future. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) encouraged him to focus on the opportunities ahead, including the new Electra line, but Zende felt he was being pushed aside rather than valued for his talent.

My Thoughts: I am ALL IN on Katie and Hope trying to get Zende over to Logan Designs! Now, what I don't understand is what exactly Zende would be gaining by jumping ship. Is he going to get his own line? Because I highly doubt it!

Otherwise, he is going to be backing up somebody with less experience than RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman). Sure, he would get to work with Hope again, but I don't see Katie handing him a Zende line at Logan Designs. So, what exactly is the incentive here? Is he really going to leave Forrester just to end up in the same position somewhere else? Make it make sense!

ALSO, Katie is putting Melissa Dylan THROUGH IT!!! 😂 I will only be calling her Melissa Dylan from now on because hearing Heather Tom say her full name is just so nice-nasty, and I LOVE IT! The way Katie says it makes it sound like she is already questioning this girl's entire existence. It is very good!

Brooke Reaches Out to Hope

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) encouraged Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to reach out to her daughter, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), rather than allowing their strained family relationship to deteriorate further. With Hope now connected to Logan Designs, the rivalry between the fashion houses was becoming increasingly personal.

At Forrester, Zende continued to struggle with the loss of Hope for the Future. Ridge tried to reassure him that his skills were needed for the new Electra line, but Zende could not easily forget how quickly the company's priorities had changed. He had once been a key part of Hope's fashion line, and now he worried that he was being relegated to a lesser role.

Elsewhere, Katie's plans for Logan Designs began to take shape. Her interest in Zende presented an opportunity to strengthen her company while taking advantage of Forrester's internal tensions. Melissa Dylan faced the difficult task of approaching Zende, leaving her to consider whether helping Katie was worth the risk to her own relationships.

Brooke's decision to reconnect with Hope offered a possible opening for reconciliation, but the growing competition between

Logan and Forrester threatened to turn a family disagreement into a much larger battle.

My Thoughts: I am still wondering why Hope didn't answer the phone when Brooke called. What was that about? Is she avoiding her mother, or was there something else going on?

Either way, I need that conversation to happen because there is clearly still some unfinished business between those two. I want to know whether Hope is deliberately keeping Brooke at a distance or whether the writers are setting up something else. Don't leave me hanging!

Carter Pressures Steffy as Zende Feels Sidelined

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) continued pressuring Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to follow through with their plan to give him and Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) a child. Steffy remained deeply uncomfortable with the deception, knowing that the arrangement could have serious consequences for everyone involved.

Steffy worried about hiding the truth from her husband, Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), particularly because he was a physician who would naturally have questions about her pregnancy. Carter insisted that they were running out of time, but Steffy continued questioning whether she could live with the lie.

Meanwhile, Melissa Dylan finally admitted to Will that Katie had tasked her with getting Zende to speak with Hope. Will was unhappy that his mother was using their relationship as leverage, and he reassured Melissa Dylan that she did not need to earn Katie's approval to deserve his love.

At Forrester Creations, Zende continued feeling overlooked as RJ and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) moved forward with the new fashion line. Zende viewed the arrangement as a step backward in his career, especially after losing the opportunity to work with Hope.

As Carter tightened the pressure on Steffy, Katie's determination to bring Zende to Logan Designs created another growing conflict. Both situations depended on people keeping quiet, but neither secret was becoming easier to manage.

My Thoughts: Will and Melissa Dylan have WAY more chemistry than Will and Electra ever did! I cannot wait to see Melissa Dylan start scheming to keep Will, although, honestly, she doesn't even need to do all that right now. All Electra has to do is breathe in Will's direction, and Melissa Dylan will probably be ready to launch a full investigation! 😂 I am here for the mess, the jealousy, and whatever schemes she has up her sleeve. Bring it on!

What I love is that Will seems genuinely invested in Melissa Dylan, so she doesn't have to work nearly as hard as she might think to keep his attention. But with Katie already putting her through the wringer, I can see this relationship getting complicated in a hurry. And if Electra gets anywhere near Will, I expect Melissa Dylan to have something to say about it!

Daphne Shares Her Baby News

Carter refused to abandon his plan, even as Steffy explained why the deception could eventually destroy their relationships. Steffy wanted to tell Daphne the truth rather than pretend that a new medical procedure had taken place. She also worried about what would happen when Finn returned and began asking questions about the pregnancy.

Carter continued insisting that they needed to move forward immediately. He believed they could convince Daphne that Steffy was carrying the baby through the agreed-upon arrangement, but Steffy was increasingly troubled by the consequences of keeping the truth from her husband and their families.

Elsewhere, Daphne shared her happy baby news with Ridge and Brooke. They were delighted that Daphne and Carter were moving closer to becoming parents, and Daphne described the woman who would help them as remarkable. Ridge and Brooke had no idea that Steffy was already at the center of a complicated secret involving Carter.

At Logan Designs, Katie continued pushing Hope to bring Zende into the business. Hope understood that Zende deserved an opportunity to explain his feelings about her departure, while Katie saw his frustration as a chance to strengthen her own company.

Will warned Melissa Dylan that Katie's demands came with strings attached. Melissa Dylan wanted to be accepted by Will's family, but Will did not want her to feel obligated to prove herself by doing his mother's bidding.

My Thoughts: Katie really is putting Melissa Dylan through it! 😂 I know Katie has a business to build, but she is making this girl jump through hoops just to get on her good side.

I also must wonder whether Katie's interest in Zende is entirely about giving him a fresh start. Bringing him to Logan Designs would be a major move against Forrester, and she knows it. I am curious to see whether Zende will get a meaningful opportunity or whether Katie simply wants another talented designer to help her company compete. Because if Zende leaves Forrester only to end up working behind RJ or somebody else without a line of his own, I am going to need a better explanation than, “But he gets to work with Hope again!”

Carter Reveals Steffy's Secret

Steffy continued challenging Carter's plan, warning him that their story would not hold up under scrutiny. She worried that Finn would recognize the inconsistencies and that Daphne would eventually discover the truth. Carter insisted that there was no more time to waste, leaving Steffy caught between her conscience and his determination.

When Daphne arrived, Carter took control of the conversation before Steffy could speak for herself. He announced that the implantation and fertilization had happened and revealed that Steffy was their surrogate. Steffy was left struggling with the announcement as Carter presented the arrangement as a happy development, even though the truth about how the pregnancy began remained concealed.

At Logan Designs, Zende finally came to speak with Hope. Hope apologized for the way her departure from Forrester had affected him, but Zende made it clear that the situation had hurt his career and left him feeling discarded. He wanted his frustration to be understood rather than brushing aside with an apology.

Katie stepped into the conversation with an offer. She invited Zende to join Logan Designs, presenting the move as an opportunity to work with Hope again and start fresh. With Zende questioning his future at Forrester, Katie's offer put a new possibility in front of him and increased the pressure on a company already struggling with internal tensions.

Meanwhile, Katie and Hope addressed their family and business disagreements more openly. Katie remained hurt by her fractured relationship with Brooke, while Hope was still processing the changes in her professional life. Their shared goals at Logan Designs did not erase the complicated history surrounding their families.

My Thoughts: Carter and Steffy, this is NOT going to end well! I just wonder how long the writers plan to drag this out before everything blows up. Because at some point, somebody is going to have to start asking questions, and the answers are not going to add up.

Honestly, they are going to have to write Finn dumb as all get-out for him to believe that Steffy wasn't already pregnant! THIS MAN IS A DOCTOR! Are we really supposed to believe he won't notice something is off?

The longer Carter and Steffy keep this going, the more ridiculous it is going to get. And when the truth finally comes out, I expect a whole lot of fallout. What happens when Finn realizes that his wife has been keeping something this significant from him? And what happens when Daphne discovers that the arrangement she was celebrating wasn't what she thought it was?

I just hope the payoff is worth the wait because this baby situation has disaster written all over it. And you know what? I am ready for the mess! 😂

Secrets, Schemes, and a Possible Designer Defection

This week left plenty of reasons to keep watching The Bold and the Beautiful.

Katie and Hope recruiting Zende: I am here for the idea of Zende joining Logan Designs, but I need to know what he stands to gain professionally. Working with Hope again is one thing, but giving up his position at Forrester without a clear path to his own line would be a questionable career move.

Will and Melissa Dylan: These two have chemistry, and I enjoy watching Will stand up for their relationship. Melissa Dylan may not need to scheme to keep him just yet, but I suspect that will change the moment Electra enters the picture!

Katie and Melissa Dylan: Heather Tom's delivery of “Melissa Dylan” is already a highlight for me. Katie is putting her through it, and I love every minute of the nice-nasty attitude!

Hope and Brooke: Why didn't Hope answer her mother's call? I want answers, and I want to see whether these two can finally work through their issues.

Carter and Steffy: This baby secret is a ticking time bomb. Finn is a doctor, Daphne believes the plan is moving forward, and Steffy is caught in the middle of a deception that could damage several relationships.

As we head into next week, I will be watching to see whether Zende seriously considers Katie's offer, whether Melissa Dylan must defend her relationship with Will, and how long Carter and Steffy can keep their story straight. Because of Katie's business ambitions, Melissa Dylan's potential schemes, and Carter's baby plan, somebody is bound to get caught. And when that happens, the fallout could be explosive!
