Daphnee Walks In on a Secret

Daphnee questions why the door to the Forrester executive office was locked and demands to know what is going on between Steffy and Carter.

Carter insists that Daphnee does not need to worry about anything, but Daphnee quickly makes it clear that she knows what happened. Steffy is shocked to realize that Daphnee has been investigating the situation.

Daphnee explains that she has spoken with Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke about Sheila showing up in Monaco. She reminds Steffy that she considers her one of her best friends in Los Angeles. Daphnee admits that the situation nearly caused her to give up on her marriage. She even took off her wedding ring and threatened to return to Paris. Looking back, Daphnee realizes she was being foolish. She declares that no one will ever come between her and Carter.

Daphnee then tells Carter that they are destined to have a baby and that she knows Steffy will be there to celebrate their growing family. Daphnee leaves the office, and Carter immediately locks the door behind her. He exhales in relief, realizing that Daphnee is completely unaware of the truth.

Carter Wants the Secret Buried Forever

Steffy admits that lying to her best friend, Daphnee, and to her own husband is eating her alive. Carter understands her guilt but makes his position clear: he wants to keep the fact that they slept together hidden forever from their spouses, Finn and Daphnee.

Carter warns Steffy that if the truth comes out, both of their marriages could be over. He could also lose his friendship with Ridge and his job at Forrester Creations.

Carter urges Steffy to take the guilt she is carrying and channel it into her family rather than allowing the secret to destroy everything she has built. Steffy remains deeply conflicted. She knows they are asking themselves to live with a devastating secret, but Carter’s determination to protect both marriages appears to be influencing her decision to remain silent.

Li and Finn Revisit Monaco

In his office, Finn and Li continue discussing everything that happened in Monaco. Finn believes that he and Steffy are committed to leaving the past behind them and moving forward with their marriage.

Li, however, understands why Steffy became alarmed after noticing Sheila’s missing toes. She believes Steffy had every right to freak out over the discovery. Finn admits that he told Steffy that maybe Sheila Carter should have a place in their lives. Li immediately understands why Steffy left him in Monaco.

Finn insists that his birth mother has no place in his family’s life. As he holds up a picture of his family, he makes it clear where his loyalty belongs. Finn is grateful that nothing more serious happened as a result of his poor judgment. He is determined to put the Monaco disaster behind him and focus on his family.

Dylan and Tina Miss Will

In the Forrester showroom, Dylan and Tina, an intern, talk about how much they miss having Will around Forrester Creations. Electra walks in and overhears their conversation. Tina quickly exits, leaving Dylan alone with Electra.

Electra and Dylan’s Friendship Explodes

Electra reminds Dylan that she could have her fired and says Dylan should be ashamed of openly flaunting her desire to be with Will. Electra then asks Dylan whether she and Will slept together. Dylan refuses to engage in the conversation and tells Electra that she does not believe they should be discussing something so personal. Electra cannot understand how Dylan could sleep with the love of her life.

Dylan fires back that Electra broke up with Will several times. She also tells Electra that she foolishly believed the two of them could eventually return to being friends. Dylan admits that she loves Will and believes she deserves to be happy. She tries to make amends with Electra, insisting that she is still the same person she has always been. Electra sees things very differently. She tells Dylan that she was conned by her because Dylan never admitted her true feelings for Will. Electra justifies her own actions and makes it clear that she feels betrayed by the woman she once considered her friend.

Electra ultimately declares that their friendship is over. Will Electra stick to ending her friendship with Dylan?
