FX dumped the official first look at the final episodes, and whew, the kitchen is entirely on fire.

Pack up your blue aprons and grab a tissue, because The Bear Season 5 trailer dropped and it is a certified emotional wrecking ball. FX blindsided fans with a two-minute glimpse into the final chapter of the hit culinary drama, confirming that our favorite dysfunctional kitchen family is heading toward a truly wild finish. Between financial ruin, unexpected career pivots, and actual natural disasters, the upcoming episodes look ready to destroy our collective peace.

The trailer sets up an ending where the central crew must navigate the ultimate restaurant service without their usual captain leading the line. Here is everything revealed in the major footage release and what it means for the big finale.

Carmy Has Left the Kitchen (Yes, Really)

Let's address the massive elephant in the dining room: Carmy Berzatto has seemingly walked away from his own dream. The footage opens with a staggering revelation for Sydney, Richie, and Sugar. Carmy has abruptly quit the food industry, leaving his staff to pick up the pieces of a deeply troubled business.

Sydney is forced to officially step up as head chef, attempting to rally a team that is already hanging by a thread. While Carmy does pop up later in the clip to offer some bittersweet words of affection to his crew, his absence on the line forces the remaining characters to redefine who they are without his overwhelming shadow.

Foreclosures, Floods, and One Last Michelin Star Chase

If a missing head chef wasn't bad enough, the physical restaurant is facing literal doom. The trailer paints a grim financial picture for the establishment. Uncle Jimmy drops a absolute bomb on Richie, coldly stating that he is selling the building.

Then comes the actual water. In a twist that feels almost biblical, a massive torrential storm hits Chicago, leaving the restaurant completely flooded.

The staff is literally sweeping waves of water out of the kitchen while dealing with broken supply lines and a severe shortage of food. Despite being completely outgunned and outmanned, the team decides to band together for one final, flawless dinner service in a desperate bid to capture that elusive Michelin star before the doors lock for good.

Release Date and Familiar Faces

Thankfully, we do not have to wait long to see how this disaster unfolds. FX confirmed that all eight episodes of The Bear Season 5 will premiere simultaneously on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

In a massive win for traditional television lovers, the final season will stream on Hulu while also getting a linear broadcast on the FX cable network. The promotional footage also treats us to great callbacks, showcasing the crew back in their original "Original Beef of Chicagoland" blue t-shirts. Plus, fan-favorites are locked in for the ride, with confirmed appearances from Jamie Lee Curtis as Donna Berzatto, Will Poulter as Luca, and Sarah Ramos as Jess.

The countdown to the end of an era is officially on. Will Sydney secure the restaurant's legacy, or will the building crumble into the Chicago concrete? Drop a comment below and tell us your wildest predictions for the series finale!
