Owen Wilson is heading back to the golf course, and this time Pryce Cahill isn't content with standing on the sidelines.
Apple TV has announced that Stick will return for its second season on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with the first two episodes dropping on premiere day. New episodes will then arrive weekly through December 30. The streamer also released a first look at the new season, which brings back the show's core cast while adding Pluribus star Rhea Seehorn to the mix.
And after spending Season 1 betting on somebody else's future, Pryce is apparently ready to make one very questionable bet on himself.
Stick Season 2 Puts Pryce Back on the Course
Season 1 introduced Wilson's Pryce Cahill as a former professional golfer whose career fell apart 20 years earlier. With his marriage over and his sporting goods store job gone, Pryce saw another shot at something meaningful when he discovered teenage golf phenom Santi, played by Peter Dager.
Season 2 finds Santi taking another step toward becoming a professional golfer, but being talented is one thing. Having everyone suddenly expect you to deliver is another. While Santi deals with that pressure, Pryce starts wondering whether his own golf story is actually finished. Encouraged by former rival Clark Ross, played by Timothy Olyphant, Pryce launches an unlikely comeback with an extremely modest goal: becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. No pressure whatsoever.
The comeback also forces Pryce to confront a much bigger question about why he never became the golfer everyone once expected him to be. Helping him figure that out will be his trusted caddie Mitts, played by Marc Maron, and new coach Amanda, played by Rhea Seehorn.
Rhea Seehorn Joins the Stick Cast
Seehorn isn't the only newcomer hitting the course in Season 2. John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle have also joined the cast.
Wilson, Dager, Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Olyphant return from the first season. Golf fans can also expect appearances from Jim Nantz, Trevor Immelman, Matt Scharff and Dan Rapaport.
Created by Jason Keller, Stick mixes its golf story with the found family relationships that became the heart of its first season. Season 2 appears ready to expand that idea by putting both Pryce and Santi at career crossroads, even if they're approaching them from very different directions. Santi is trying to prove he can live up to his potential. Pryce is trying to prove his potential didn't expire two decades ago. Apparently one complicated golf career wasn't enough.
Stick Season 2 premieres Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with two episodes on Apple TV, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 30.
