Daytime television is gearing up for a wild ride as we head into the scorching summer months. If you thought your thermostat was high, just wait until you see the absolute messes your favorite characters are stumbling into this week. From baffling schedule shakeups to medical emergencies and classic backstabbing, the networks are delivering enough dramatic heat to keep us glued to our screens. Whether you are counting down the minutes until tomorrow's broadcast or just trying to keep track of who is plotting against whom, we have the ultimate breakdown of everything coming to daytime. Grab your iced coffee, because we need to talk about the upcoming week of soap opera drama.

Beyond the Gates: Encore Interruptions

Let us kick things off with a collective sigh. If you were hoping for fresh, high-stakes showdowns over at Beyond the Gates, you might want to adjust your expectations. The network is hitting the pause button on new narratives and tossing us a week of repeat broadcasts. Yes, girl, we are heading into rerun territory.

On Monday, June 29, the network kicks off the week with a BTG Encore Episode from May 18. The pattern continues straight through the week, with Tuesday bringing the encore from May 19, and Wednesday serving up the episode originally aired on May 20. By Thursday, July 2, they are digging a little deeper into the vault with a repeat from April 3, before finally closing out the week on Friday, July 3, with an encore of the April 6 broadcast. While it is a bit frustrating to get dust-covered episodes rather than fresh plots, it does give everyone a chance to breathe. Consider this a temporary truce before the daytime drama starts back up.

Days of Our Lives: Secret Debts and Medical Battles

Over in Salem, things are moving at a breakneck pace. Days of Our Lives is not holding back, throwing heavy emotional arcs and corporate espionage right at our faces. The week starts with a massive block on Monday, June 29, as Xander and Philip investigate who paid off Titan’s loan, while Kristen and Gwen bond over a common enemy. On that same day, EJ reveals a troubling secret to Johnny, Lexie supports Abe, and Chanel begins chemotherapy.

The momentum carries into Tuesday, June 30, when Chad opens up to Julie, Tate tries to cheer up Holly, and Brady goes on a mission for Sarah. Leo and Javi also agree to avoid one another on Tuesday, while Roman helps Ari. By Wednesday, July 1, the secrecy builds as Lexie keeps a secret from Abe, Gus questions Javi, and Kate surprises Gabi. Wednesday also sees Gwen taking care of Leo, right as Xander and Philip find themselves completely blindsided.

As the holiday weekend approaches, Thursday, July 2, delivers heavy conversations with Stephanie venting to Kayla and

Sarah confiding in Brady. Meanwhile, Joy tries to keep Alex distracted, Tate and Holly reminisce, and EJ discovers something is amiss on Smith Island. Finally, Friday, July 3, wraps up the week as the Carvers and Prices celebrate Trey’s birthday, EJ asks Johnny for help, Marlena shares her concerns with Belle, and Shawn and Jada stop denying the inevitable. Chanel’s health journey is bound to pull at the heartstrings, but leave it to EJ to keep the shady business alive with his relentless secrets.

General Hospital: Traps, Furies, and Hard Truths

Port Charles is proving once again that it is the premier destination for terrible decision-making. General Hospital is serving up an entire week of characters getting cornered, overhearing things they shouldn't, and throwing absolute fits. Monday, June 29, opens with Emma seeking answers from Anna, Alexis confiding in Sonny, and Cassius briefing Cullum. Monday also features Felicia being deeply skeptical while Molly opens up about her parents.

On Tuesday, June 30, Tracy confronts Sonny, Gio stands his ground, and Nina makes an alarming discovery. The tension rises on Tuesday as Ava locks horns with Ethan, and Josslyn and Obrecht somehow find common ground. Wednesday, July 1, brings total breakdown territory when Sonny is lured into a trap, Ava unleashes her fury, and Nina must act fast. We also see Lucas get completely floored on Wednesday while Carly overhears stunning news.

The fallout hits on Thursday, July 2, as Sonny makes a major revelation, Ava hears a shocking confession, and Anna is grateful. Thursday also features Tracy supporting Cody while Carly is left completely stunned. Everything boils over on Friday, July 3, when Carly goes on the warpath, Britt finds herself in the hot seat, and Dante breaks some bad news. Friday wraps up with Molly wanting answers and Charlotte seeking Lulu’s help. Not us feeling a certain way about Sonny falling into an obvious trap. You would think a mob boss would have better radar by now.

The Young and the Restless: Hospital Vigils and Hostile Takeovers

Finally, The Young and the Restless is keeping the Newman and Abbott families thoroughly miserable in Genoa City. Monday, June 29, sets a somber tone as the Newmans stand vigil at the hospital, Victor contemplates his future with Nikki, and Billy and Cane receive a surprise visitor.

On Tuesday, June 30, Kyle and Traci worry about Patty’s latest move, Diane plots her escape, and Jill forces Billy and Cane to settle their issues once and for all. Midweek brings the heat on Wednesday, July 1, as Jack sets a trap for Patty, Cane asks Lily for a favor, and Billy actively sabotages Sally’s latest venture.

The corporate and personal maneuvering continues into Thursday, July 2, with Victor playing his cards close to the vest, Stephanie and Nate discussing his past, and Nick and Noah proving they aren’t buying what Matt Clark is selling. The week finishes strong on Friday, July 3, as Jack plays a dangerous game with Patty and Kyle’s plan to rescue Diane takes an unexpected turn. Jack playing games with Patty is always a recipe for disaster, and Billy sabotaging Sally just proves that some men simply cannot mind their own business.

Daytime television is keeping the subplots messy, the alliances fragile, and the tension incredibly high. While one show might be taking a nap with reruns, the other three are sprinting full speed into total madness. Which storyline has you completely hooked for the upcoming week?
