Hulu revealed the first look at the highly anticipated new season today, along with a major title change that tells us exactly where our favorite amateur detectives are headed. The sixth season will now be called Only Murders in London, and it premieres December 8 on Hulu and Disney Plus.

Yes, after five seasons of murders, secrets and questionable decisions inside the Arconia, the trio is leaving New York City behind. Honestly, it was probably time. Those three have solved enough crimes in one building to make the Arconia the least relaxing apartment complex in television history.

Only Murders in London Is Taking the Trio Across the Pond

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return as Charles, Oliver and Mabel, but their latest investigation will look very different from anything we have seen before. For the first time in the series, the story moves outside the United States as the trio heads to London to investigate a brand new murder mystery.

The move gives Only Murders in the Building an opportunity to play with an entirely different mystery setting while keeping the combination of comedy, friendship and murder that made the series such a fan favorite.

And naturally, London is basically the perfect place for this show to go. Give these three a collection of suspicious British characters, mysterious old buildings and enough secrets to fill several podcasts, and we already know they are going to have a lot to investigate.

After five seasons of proving they cannot stay away from a mystery, Charles, Oliver and Mabel are about to tackle their biggest adventure yet. A new city, a new murder and an enormous collection of suspicious characters sounds like a pretty perfect recipe for Only Murders in London.

Now we just have to survive the wait until December. And considering this is Only Murders in the Building, we probably should not get too attached to anyone.
