We’re back at the Walter family ranch, and the drama is worse than ever. After the devastating Season 2 finale, fans were left wondering quite a few things: Who will Jackie end up with? Is George going to be okay?
The season starts off on an emotional note as we see George begin his recovery and watch the entire family navigate life while he heals. In the meantime, Cole and Jackie fans got their wish as the two rekindled their relationship. While fans were pleased to see the pair happy and together for most of the season, many were frustrated with the direction of their relationship and some of the choices made with the other characters.
This season, the producers and writers seemed to create more drama than necessary. While the characters certainly had plenty of obstacles to overcome, viewers are starting to get tired of watching everyone constantly run in circles. With another season ending without Cole and Jackie together, fans are understandably frustrated with Netflix for straying so far from the source material and adding plotlines that feel unnecessary.
As someone who avidly binges romance and drama shows the moment they come out, it was getting harder and harder for me to keep watching. While I wanted to know what happened, I wasn’t a fan of adding plotlines simply for the sake of creating more drama. For example, the addition of Elliot felt unnecessary to me and, in my opinion, took away valuable screen time from other characters fans actually want to see more of.

One storyline I would have loved to see explored more was Jackie’s best friend Grace potentially developing a romance with Isaac, a fan-favorite Walter boy. I think Netflix could take some notes from its viewers and introduce fresh storylines instead of continuing to rely on the same cycle of drama between Jackie and Cole.
So while I think My Life with the Walter Boys has all the potential to be a great series, Season 3 still feels like it’s missing the mark. At this point, the constant drama is starting to feel repetitive rather than compelling, and the series seems to be losing some of what made viewers fall in love with it in the first place.
With yet another cliffhanger and fans left wondering if another Walter boy will make it out okay, I’m curious to see where Season 4 will take us. With the next season officially in production, fans are hoping to see Jackie and Cole finally resolve their issues, Cole make it out of the car accident okay, and hopefully, the Walter family get the happily ever after they deserve.

So/So

"I think Netflix could take some notes from its viewers and introduce fresh storylines instead of continuing to rely on the same cycle of drama between Jackie and Cole". I think we need to remember that the show is supposed to be mostly about Jackie and Cole - 99% of the viewers are watching because of them, not Jackie and Cole + plus every single character in the series being added into the screentime when there are only few spots left and they're reserved for the characters that have lovestories in the books.
I think the season went into the soap opera direction, and I don't think the writers are aware that playing with the life of the main character…
