Lindsay Lohan has joined “Count My Lies,” (as Violet) a new dramatic tv series in the works at Hulu based on the novel, as star and executive producer. This will be Lohan’s first lead role in a TV series. The series is being written by This is Us writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.
The official logline, “When compulsive liar Sloane Caraway fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet and Jay Lockhart, it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.”
Lohan has been on her comeback tour and we couldn’t be happier for her. We love seeing people happy and healthy and doing what they love. We hope she continues to thrive. Soon, Lohan will star in “Freakier Friday,” a sequel to 2003’s “Freaky Friday,” co-starring Oscar Winner Jamie Lee Curtis. In this version, Lohan and Curtis switch bodies with their young family member and her friend. Based on the trailer released earlier this year, the film looks like a fun time.
Lohan is no stranger to television of course. She has done tv movies (hello Life Size we are looking at you) before but also a slew of guest star roles on shows like Ugly Betty, Anger Management, 2 Broke Girls and Glee to name a few. Since we are talking Life Size, (we aren’t but we should) we should really have a sequel to that cult classic in the works as well. Everything is getting rebooted and reimagined and Life Size was just one of those movies.
But back to “Count My Lies” which is the first novel from Sophie Stava, author of the novel the show is based on, as previously mentioned, will serve as a producer.
