Episode 3 of Industry is finally here! Another really good episode this week and some advancement for almost everyone on canvas at this point. Since we are gearing up towards the middle of the season, I’m excited to see how this is all going to play out in classic Industry style.

One of our major focuses this episode is the development and rise of SternTao, Harper and Eric’s venture together. Harper’s now left the previous situation and abandoned her colleagues to pursue this opportunity with Eric. They spend a good chunk of the episode trying to find supporters and investors to help them rise their new venture to the same status as all of their competitors. Harper is pushing and fighting to get the upper hand in any way that she can so that they can get their hands on Tender.

We see throughout the episode the struggle she is having to find a work/life balance. I really want to see them succeed and I want to see them take Tender down, but I'm worried this is all going to blow up in their faces. The damage that this could have would potentially affect every single person on canvas, cause at this point, everyone’s hands are in Tender.

Our other main focus is bringing Henry and Yasmin into the folds of Tender’s board and spinning the narrative of his mental health break from last week’s episode. We see Yasmin taking control of the narrative and trying to guide him in what is best to do in this new chapter of his life. We also see some lingering beats and follow up from the brief moment Haley and Yasmin shared last week. This all comes to a head when Yasmin invites Hayley to have a threesome with her and Henry. Henry seems a little hesitant at first, but soon enough, he’s on board for it and Yasmin is back in control.

This just proves to me even more that she was longing for the control she used to have over men in her previous flings and relationships. I also think on the flip side of this, Henry is not used to not being control and Yasmin’s power in the relationship intimidates him. This dynamic is really making my interested to see how their marriage is going to go, I feel like if they separate, Henry will try to smear her name after she’s worked so hard to build it back up after her dad’s impact; but I think that if they stay together, Yasmin is going to continue to hold herself back from who she truly is and what she wants to be.

Overall, this episode really heightened the drama and story of Tender being brought into the picture from all aspects. I am intrigued to see how everyone is going to progress after this by the end of this season.
