I Will Find You Trailer Drops: Netflix’s Next Harlan Coben Mystery Looks Unmissable

Man in tan prison clothes sits on a bunk by barred window, looking pensive in a dim gray cell.

Netflix dropped the I Will Find You trailer today and if you are asking yourself, “What’s that” don’t worry, we are here with everything you need to know before the eight-episode series premieres on Thursday, June 18.

Sam Worthington plays David Burroughs, a man serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son, Matthew. Of course, Burroughs claims innocence for the horrible crime. His former sister-in-law, Rachel (Britt Lower) is an investigative journalist who shows Burroughs a recent photo of a boy that looks exactly like David’s deceased son.

Armed with this new information, David organizes a prison escape, and the chase is on to find the truth. While the plot isn’t anything new, the cast is where this thriller may shine. Also starring Milo Ventimiglia, (Rachel’s ex) Chi McBride, Jonathan Tucker, Clancy Brown and Madeleine Stowe, we may have a winner here.

"The past never changes, until one day, it does."

This adaptation based on the 2023 bestselling mystery novel by Harlan Coben may not reinvent the wheel of the wrongful-conviction genre, but it looks incredibly watchable. We love a good chase around the city and the “you don’t know who you can trust” storyline when do well. This also gives Sam Worthington something to play at that doesn’t involve blue creatures.

So, you’ve watched the trailer and read all the details. Are you planning to add this mystery to your summer watchlist? Let us know in the comments.
