If there was one word to describe this week on General Hospital, it would be relentless. Port Charles barely had a moment to breathe as Carly put her own life on the line, Josslyn found herself caught in a deadly shootout, Sidwell proved once again why he's one of the show's most dangerous villains, and the mystery surrounding the WSB only became more complicated. Add in shocking family revelations, emotional reunions and a surprise arrival, and it was another unforgettable week in Port Charles.
The week kicked off with Alexis turning to Sonny for help with Danny, while Charlotte's nightmare was only beginning. After Danny rescued her from a WSB agent at Crimson, the two took refuge at the Quartermaine boathouse before reaching out to Carly. Charlotte explained that someone had tried to kidnap her, and once Carly realized just how serious the situation had become, she didn't hesitate to take matters into her own hands.
Elsewhere, Molly and Cody enjoyed what they hoped would be a relaxing afternoon at the Metro Court pool while Nina caught up with Ava nearby. Unfortunately, peace didn't last long. Detective Joe Fitzpatrick continued investigating the Ashford accident alongside ADA Turner, who revealed they may have identified the mysterious driver connected to the case. At the same time, Fitzpatrick kept watch on Sidwell's property as Cassius continued operating undercover.
Over at Pozzulo's, Tracy paid Sonny a visit with one thing on her mind: Gio's safety. Knowing the growing feud with Jenz Sidwell was becoming increasingly dangerous, Tracy urged Sonny to help protect the young man who connects both of their families. Later, Gio made a decision Tracy strongly opposed, adding another layer of tension to an already complicated family dynamic.
Meanwhile, Felicia uncovered the disturbing truth about "fake Nathan," learning he was actually Cassius, Nathan West's identical twin brother. Once she realized James could be in danger, she immediately warned Cody to keep the little boy away from Cassius. Cody acted quickly, making sure James stayed safe before Cassius could get anywhere near him.
Things escalated dramatically when Fitzpatrick and Cassius confronted Sidwell and Ezra Boyle at Sidwell's hidden property. Although both men were briefly taken into custody, Sidwell once again manipulated the situation and managed to escape, leaving Fitzpatrick seriously injured before fleeing.
As Sidwell slipped away, another terrifying threat unfolded at Wyndemere. Director Cullum attempted to kill the recovering Jack Brennan while preparing to move a mysterious and dangerous device connected to the WSB's latest operation. At the same time, Carly secretly infiltrated Wyndemere after Charlotte provided detailed instructions on how to get inside and rescue Josslyn and Liesl.
Carly's rescue mission quickly turned into a fight for survival after she was discovered by Cullum's agents. Thankfully, Danny and Charlotte secretly followed her, creating just enough of a distraction to keep Cullum's team occupied. Cassius arrived at the last possible moment, saving Carly's life before handing her a gun and sending her to rescue Josslyn and Liesl while he raced to stop Cullum.
Back in Port Charles, Sidwell's reign of terror continued when he stormed the Jerome Gallery armed with a gun, taking Ava, Ethan and ADA Turner hostage. Sonny arrived after Sidwell demanded a meeting, but negotiations quickly fell apart. During the confrontation, Ethan took a bullet while protecting Ava, leaving him seriously wounded. Before losing consciousness, he shocked Ava by revealing surprising information about Phoebe.
While Carly reached Josslyn and Liesl, the battle at Wyndemere shifted to the docks, where Cullum prepared to transport the mysterious device. As bullets started flying, Josslyn joined Cassius in the fight and was shot during the confrontation. Before the deadly showdown came to an end, Cullum dropped a heartbreaking revelation regarding Cassius' sister and her Huntington's disease, making an already emotional battle even more devastating.
The fallout was felt across Port Charles. Anna experienced a haunting hallucination of Peter August before returning home, while Lulu, Dante and Rocco finally made their way back after Cullum's death. Lulu was left horrified after learning that the man she believed was Nathan had actually been his twin brother, Cassius, making their relationship nothing more than an elaborate deception.
There were still plenty of surprises waiting. A mysterious visitor named John Oliver arrived in Port Charles by helicopter, immediately raising questions about what comes next. Britt Westbourne remained in WSB custody as Liesl and Dante each paid her a visit, while Molly represented Danny and Charlotte during meetings with the WSB that failed to produce the outcome they wanted.
At General Hospital, Lucas cared for both Fitzpatrick and Josslyn following the week's violence. After surgery, Josslyn finally regained consciousness and came face-to-face with the mysterious man she'd seen before losing consciousness. Introducing himself as Agent Jacks, he revealed he was now leading the WSB, setting the stage for another major chapter in the organization's growing influence over Port Charles.
Not one to wait for answers, Carly confronted the mysterious WSB leader known as "Z" inside Jack Brennan's office, determined to learn the truth about everything that had happened. With Sidwell still on the loose, Britt's future uncertain, Josslyn recovering from a gunshot wound and new secrets surrounding the WSB continuing to surface, this week's General Hospital delivered high-stakes action, emotional fallout and enough twists to keep fans talking long after Friday's episode ended.
