General Hospital Weekly Recap: Carly Arrested for Jack Brennan’s Murder, Heather Webber Returns, and Tracy Leaves Port Charles

It was a busy week in Port Charles! Carly finds herself facing a murder charge, Heather Webber returns claiming she's a changed woman, and Jude Jacks refuses Sonny’s offer to walk away from Phoebe. Meanwhile, Tracy leaves town to rescue Dillon, and the mystery surrounding Jack Brennan’s death continues to raise questions.

Carly Arrested for Jack Brennan’s Murder

Carly and Valentin make a shocking discovery at the nature preserve when Carly falls into a makeshift grave with a hand protruding from the dirt. The hand is missing a finger, possibly the same one Outback brought to Danny. Before Carly and Valentin can leave, Detective Fitzpatrick arrives, and the two are taken to the PCPD for questioning.

Things quickly get worse for Carly when Fitzpatrick discovers evidence connecting her bracelet to Brennan’s body. Carly is arrested for his murder, but Josslyn insists her mother is innocent. Jason arrives at the PCPD to support Carly, while Sonny has the unfortunate task of explaining her arrest after Donna overhears him discussing it.

Danny also tells Jason that he and Charlotte discovered Brennan’s body in the Metro Court pool. Meanwhile, Lucas learns

that Brennan had restinol, a paralytic drug, in his system. Is this the same drug Willow used on Drew and Nina injected into Jack? Could it have remained in his system? The PCPD needs to hire Lucas as a part-time cop!

Serena offers Jason an alibi that could get Carly released, but she wants full creative control of Deception in return. Ava and Drew, on the other hand, are thrilled about Carly and Valentin’s arrests and even celebrate over dinner. Now, who really murdered Jack Brennan, and will Carly be able to prove her innocence?

Heather Webber Returns to Port Charles

Heather Webber makes a shocking return when she turns out to be the mysterious person who requested a private concert from Trina and Gio. Trina courageously faces the woman responsible for so much trauma in her life, while Heather insists she isn't Trina’s stalker and only wants to make amends.

Heather has purchased Spoon Island and Wyndemere and plans to remain in Port Charles to spend time with Elizabeth and Ace. Elizabeth agrees to support her if she's genuinely serious about changing, but Britt and Portia want nothing to do with her.

Portia promises Trina she'll do everything possible to protect her. When Isaiah asks whether Heather was at the hospital because she was injured, Portia replies, "Not yet." Something tells me Heather had better stay out of Portia’s way!

Meanwhile, Emma and Gio continue searching for Trina’s stalker, Alan Smith, who sent her three bouquets of red roses signed "Her Biggest Fan." Heather says she isn't responsible, but can anyone really trust her?

Jude Jacks Refuses Sonny’s Offer

Jude Jacks continues stirring up trouble for Brook Lynn and Chase with his claim that he's Phoebe’s father. Alexis explains their options for preventing Jude from gaining custody, while Brook Lynn secretly obtains Josslyn’s DNA to determine whether Phoebe is related to Jude.

Sonny offers Jude a substantial payout and control of JJE if he'll give up his claim to Phoebe. Jude shows integrity and refuses the offer. He isn't willing to give up his claim to his daughter for money or power.

Josslyn and Hudson continue investigating Jude, but they discover that Ric has planted a listening device in Hudson’s briefcase. Meanwhile, Jude crosses paths with Britt again and suggests another anonymous night together, but Britt turns him down.

Romance and Trouble at General Hospital

Elizabeth continues thinking about her almost-kiss with Dante on Halloween, even as her relationship with Ric moves forward. Willow questions whether Ric truly loves Elizabeth or simply loves what she can do for him. Elizabeth may have some difficult decisions ahead.

Willow also tries to pull Dr. Tristan Roberts away from his hospital duties for an assignment, but he quickly sets her straight. Roberts later examines Nina at the WSB black site, where she continues looking for answers.

Portia and Isaiah find time for a romantic moment, although Trina interrupts their kiss with news of Heather’s return. Michael remains in Baden-Baden as Jordan undergoes treatment, while Curtis receives a visit from Monet at Pentonville.

Tracy Heads to Bangkok to Rescue Dillon

Tracy prepares to leave Port Charles after learning that her son Dillon has been arrested in Bangkok, Thailand. Jason helps her get ready for the trip, while Emma and Gio promise to look after Brook Lynn in her absence.

Jane Elliot is taking a break from General Hospital, and we'll miss her! With Carly accused of murder, Heather Webber back in town, and Jude refusing to give up his claim to Phoebe, there's plenty of drama ahead in Port Charles.
