Emily Cooper is getting one last fashionable adventure, and Netflix has finally revealed when fans will have to say au revoir to Emily in Paris.
Netflix announced today that the sixth and final season of the hit series will premiere Thursday, December 24, 2026. Along with the release date, the streamer unveiled a collection of first-look photos giving fans a glimpse at Lily Collins’ final chapter as Emily Cooper.
And because this is Emily in Paris, Emily’s final season is not staying in Paris. The new episodes take her on another European adventure, including a trip to Greece, where she reconnects with Gabriel after his invitation at the end of Season 5. The first-look images give viewers a taste of the sunny new setting while teasing the complicated relationships that Emily will have to navigate before the series comes to an end.
Netflix’s official description for Season 6 promises that Emily will enter a new era of ambition and romance while facing decisions that could change the direction of her life. Career conflicts and shifting relationships will force her to reconsider where she really belongs, ultimately leading to one final choice between her career, her heart and the life she has built in Paris.
Of course, Emily will not be heading into the final season alone. Ashley Park returns as Mindy Chen, alongside Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, William Abadie as Antoine, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Minnie Driver as Princess Jane and Paul Forman as Nico.
That means there is still plenty of relationship drama waiting for us. Emily ended Season 5 single after realizing her relationship with Marcello was not the future she wanted, while Gabriel invited her to Greece. Meanwhile, Mindy’s relationship with Nico remains complicated thanks to her lingering connection with Alfie. Because apparently nobody in Emily’s circle is allowed to have a simple love life.
Creator, writer and executive producer Darren Star has teased that the final season will be the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet. Production has taken the series to multiple European locations, with Greece serving as one of the major destinations before the story ultimately returns to Paris.
The timing of the premiere also gives fans a pretty fitting holiday gift. Emily in Paris Season 6 arrives on Christmas Eve, December 24, giving viewers one final opportunity to escape into Emily’s stylish world before the series officially comes to an end.
After six seasons of romance, career twists, questionable decisions and some seriously memorable fashion moments, Emily Cooper is getting ready for her final chapter. Now the big question is whether she will finally figure out where her heart belongs and whether Paris will still be part of the answer.
