Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Recap 7-28

Steffy and Finn share their goodbyes as Steffy is taking the children and going away for a little while. (Jacqui, who plays Steffy, is going on maternity leave.) She also lets Liam know as well. Liam and Bill have a heart-to-heart about the surgery.

Father and son express how much they love each other, and Bill tells Liam how thankful he is for him.

Brooke, Ridge, Nick, and Eric prepare for their trip to Italy. Of course, Taylor and Brooke have a few words, and Taylor sees Ridge off — just as Nick tells Brooke he’s going to Naples. Eric eavesdrops, confronts Nick, and they exchange words. But Nick is going to Naples, and that’s that.

Finn visits Liam and becomes concerned about how small his incisions look. Dr. Buckingham arrives, hides, and listens in on the conversation. She looks worried.

Brooke, Ridge, Nick, and Eric arrive in Italy. Ridge, Brooke, and Eric enjoy the reception thrown for their arrival. Nick is planning something special for Brooke. Soon after, Nick arrives and surprises Brooke — they kiss, and Eric observes.

Taylor and Donna continue to talk about Brooke and Nick, but Donna believes Ridge will always be Brooke’s destiny. Taylor laments that Ridge just isn’t an option for her anymore.

Li surprisingly tells her son she’s taking a leave of absence. Finn tries to grill her, but she’s evasive and changes the subject to Steffy. Li assures him she’ll be fine and will be gone as long as she needs. Later, it’s revealed — Li has Luna, and she’s alive.

Ridge and Brooke take a boat ride on the Capri. Soon after, Eric tells his son about the kiss between Nick and Brooke — and warns he may lose her forever. The fashion show follows soon after.

Li refuses to let Luna die. Meanwhile, Sheila wants to know where Luna’s body was taken, but Li keeps avoiding her. Li shows up to get food and still refuses to tell Sheila anything.

Ridge and Brooke continue the press tour. Eric runs into Nick again and is not happy. Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke continue talking about not being together (le sigh). Brooke brings up how many memories they share and says she wants to leave — but Ridge convinces her to stay. She opens up about how Nick wants her and how it feels, just as Nick and Eric continue to exchange words. Once Eric walks away, Nick finds Ridge and Brooke mid-argument. He interrupts, tells Brooke she can come with him — and she does, as Ridge watches.

Sheila and Li go at it again until Li walks off. Sheila just wants to know where Luna’s resting place is, but Li says nothing and leaves. Sheila later talks to Deacon about Luna and their connection, while Li talks to Luna — blaming her sister Poppy, and insisting she won’t let Luna die.

We get flashbacks of Nick and Brooke. Eric continues trying to talk to Ridge about his feelings for her. Ridge goes to see Brooke — but she doesn’t hear him at the door.

Eric realizes Nick is planning to propose to Brooke. He tries to stop it and convince Brooke not to fall for Nick, but it doesn’t land — and she heads off to meet Nick.

Bridget and Finn meet to talk about Dr. Buckingham, and how suspicious they are of her — just as she walks in.

Katie is being weird about Ridge and Taylor’s relationship and should really mind her own business.

Brooke is waiting for Nick… when Ridge shows up.
