About

Hello, I am Karen-Elizabeth, but, the people who say they love me, call me Kae! Born in North Carolina, raised in Germany and Texas, I have lived my entire life around the arts. My father was a noted artist/actor/cartoonist, and filled our family home and imaginations with creativity of all kinds through painting, drawing, theater, music, and literature. From the dramatic to the cinematic, the arts have always connected me to different people, places, and experiences. In the third grade, I discovered my own passion for the arts through writing and watching movies and must-see TV. Joining the Je-Ree Reviews Media team gives me the opportunity to bring these loves back together.

A graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in journalism, I am a published author, wanna-be poet, corporate communicator, innovation enthusiast, OG Star Wars fan, obsessed with crossword puzzles done in ink, Formula One racing, and calculating the ideal number microwave minutes to not burn a bag of popcorn!

Review: Landman Season 2 Episode 10: Billy Bob Thornton Carries Landman to the Finish Line in Season 2’s Finale
Did they really just save the best for last? If you have spent any time on the Patch this season, you know it has been a rather circuitous road to get to the series’ most well-rounded episode — that is, the season 2 finale of Landman. The gritty, over-the-top oil drama from Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, originally inspired by the podcast Boomtown, brings its sophomore season to a close with a wrap up that puts characters back in the lane they know best and hints at new beginnings. ...

Landman Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: Rebecca and Charlie’s Steamy Reunion + Ainsley’s Dorm Nightmare
We have arrived at the penultimate episode for season 2 of Paramount+’s hit oil drama Landman . No one ever said that life on the Pitch would be easy, However, “Plans, Tears, and Sirens” runs an emotional gambit more akin to the good, the bad, and the ugly. Never without drama, this week goes to eleven for all those caught up in the maelstrom of the West Texas oil and gas industry.  Directed by Stephen Kay, the episode opens with another chaotic morning at the Norris household in Midland,...
