Jack Whitehall and David Duchovny headline a slick new psychological thriller that drops November 14 Prime Video is diving headfirst into the messy world of manipulation and revenge with its upcoming limited series Malice , and the release date is officially locked. The six-episode thriller, starring Jack Whitehall  and David Duchovny , is set to premiere globally on Friday, November 14 . So if your holiday season wasn’t already packed with awkward family dinners and emotional landmines, congratulations — now you have something else to be paranoid about. Malice follows the story of Adam  (Whitehall), a charming tutor with the kind of smile that screams I’m definitely hiding something . While on vacation in Greece, the wealthy Tanner family lets Adam into their orbit, which is never a good idea in a thriller. When their nanny falls mysteriously ill, Adam slides into her role and then into their London home. Spoiler alert: He’s not there to help with homework. Soon enough, Adam is turning Jamie Tanner  (Duchovny) and his wife Nat  (played by Carice van Houten , who knows a thing or two about dark secrets) against each other. As the family implodes, questions arise about Adam’s true intentions — and his twisted past. What starts as a dream getaway quickly spirals into a nightmare of gaslighting, obsession, and carefully orchestrated chaos. Prime Video seems to be leaning hard into the prestige thriller game, and Malice  fits right in with its recent string of binge-worthy originals. With a tight six-episode arc and a cast that knows how to bring the drama, this one’s already giving You  meets The Talented Mr. Ripley  energy — and we’re not mad about it. So mark your calendars for November 14. Trust no one. And maybe think twice before hiring that overly helpful tutor. Episode 6 of Gen V has dropped on Prime Video this week & I’m so excited to discuss it.  This was another really strong episode, we are inching closer and closer to the Season Finale. It feels like our main characters are running out of time to beat Cipher and figure out his plan, and as a viewer, I feel the same exact way. We picked up right where we left off last week, Annabeth has been brought back from the dead by Marie using her powers to their fullest extent. Throughout the episode, you can really feel the impact that this has had on everyone around her. Annabeth is unsure of what to believe and who to trust, Jordan seems a little uneasy about the growth of Marie’s powers, Emma is giving us some comedic relief, and Cate seems intrigued.  One of the biggest revelations in the episode is that Annabeth actually has powers. When she predicted that Sam was about to bust through the wall, my jaw dropped. And when she confirmed it, and that she’s kept it hidden all of this time, I was heartbroken for her. Her anger towards Marie was a little justified, in my opinion, but she didn’t know the full story of how long she has been trying to find her, and seeing the pain in Marie’s eyes was so sad.  Jordan seems to be a little uneasy or unnerved about the power that Marie possesses and that makes me a little worried about what’s to come over these final 2 episodes. Marie tells them that nothing has to change and that she is still her, but Jordan is worried that this could change everything. I truly hope that they are able to work through this and figure out what their next moves are going to be.  We also get Sam included in the group this episode, as he comes to Elmira to help the crew escape. I think this was a good episode for him, last episode, after the time he had with his family & finding out about their history, I wasn’t sure what they would do with his character next. But him coming to help everyone, was a nice touch. I do think that the pacing for his progression has jumped a couple of beats. It seems like (thus far) they have dropped his storyline about his mental health and how Cate was truly keeping him from a total mental breakdown. We also got some Sam and Emma material, which was nice to see, but I don’t think that they need to be paired back up, personally. While everyone is trying to figure out their next move, Emma gets an idea to DM Polarity on Instagram. Which leads to some interesting scenes with Polarity and Cipher. Cipher is always 2 steps ahead of everyone, so it makes sense that he knows what Emma did. He shows up at Polarity’s house and confronts him about it. They have words and argue, and Cipher uses what seems to be same “meat puppet” power that he used on Jordan to beat Polarity up by using his own body against him. In a strange and intriguing turn of events, Polarity is able to use his power to resist Cipher’s control and Cipher’s hand starts shaking. I’m wondering what this means for Cipher and whether Polarity might be one of the people to figure out what his weakness is.  In the last bit of the episode, during a fight scene, while everyone is arguing about what they should do to stay off the radar, a young girl shows up with an older man. We find out that her name is Zoe and she is the iconic, Victoria Neuman’s daughter and the man with her is her grandfather. He is able to get everyone to come with him to his hideout, but he really wants to study and learn more from Marie. We find out that the powers that Marie (and Homelander) have were from Thomas Godolkin’s original research. This is making me wonder if the old man that Cipher is claiming is his father, is actually Thomas Godolkin.  I’m not sure what to expect next, but I am eagerly anticipating these next 2 episodes, although, I’m not ready to see this season end. Overall, I would rate this episode a 4.5/5 stars!

HBO has officially announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms , and fans of Westeros are already sharpening their swords. The series is set to debut on January 18, 2026, bringing a fresh yet familiar energy to the network’s growing fantasy universe. And yes, the first trailer just dropped, giving us a glimpse at the unlikely bromance between Ser Duncan the Tall and a young boy destined for a crown. Set a century before Daenerys made dragons cool again, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms  takes a quieter, more grounded approach to storytelling. The series adapts George R R Martin’s beloved Tales of Dunk and Egg  novellas, centering on the towering hedge knight Ser Duncan and his pint-sized squire Egg, who just so happens to be future king Aegon V Targaryen. Think fewer political backstabs and more heartfelt adventures with the occasional sword fight and royal secret. HBO revealed the first full trailer during its panel at New York Comic Con, and it's clear this spinoff is leaning into a more character-driven tale. The trailer teases a stripped-down Westeros, less about dynasties and more about honor, friendship, and the absurdity of wearing armor in the heat. It feels like the little sibling of Game of Thrones  who read too much chivalry poetry and decided to actually be nice. In a bold move, the show ditches the traditional opening credits sequence in favor of something simpler, reflecting Dunk’s humble roots. This isn’t about Iron Thrones or dragon-riding egos. It’s about the small stories that shaped the legends we already know. With House of the Dragon  continuing to slay on Sundays and more Westeros content bubbling in the pipeline, HBO is clearly building a fantasy empire that refuses to chill. Whether you're a Thrones loyalist or new to the chaos, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms  promises a refreshing detour through the dusty backroads of the Seven Kingdoms. Breaking Bad  mastermind Vince Gilligan  is back with a brand-new mind-bender, and Apple TV+ is giving us our first official peek. The upcoming drama Pluribus , starring Rhea Seehorn , just dropped a teaser, key art, and several first-look images that suggest one thing, we have no idea what’s coming, but it’s going to be weird in the best possible way. Pluribus  marks Gilligan’s long-awaited return to television and reunites him with Seehorn, who stole hearts and shredded souls as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul . This time around, she plays “the most miserable person on Earth” who is somehow tasked with saving the world from happiness . Vince Gilligan is officially done playing by the rules of genre. The nine-episode series premieres globally on Friday November 7  with a two-episode drop, then continues weekly every Friday through December 26 . Apple TV+ greenlit Pluribus  for a two-season straight-to-series order , which should tell you everything you need to know about their faith in Gilligan’s brand of existential chaos. The cast includes Karolina Wydra  ( Sneaky Pete ), Carlos-Manuel Vesga  ( The Hijacking of Flight 601 ), along with guest stars Miriam Shor  ( American Fiction ) and Samba Schutte  ( Our Flag Means Death ). Behind the scenes, Gilligan is joined by longtime collaborators including Gordon Smith , Alison Tatlock , and Diane Mercer , with production by Sony Pictures Television . The teaser keeps things intentionally vague, but it is full of moody visuals, dry humor, and just enough unease to remind us that Gilligan knows exactly how to keep viewers guessing. Apple TV+ clearly wants Pluribus  to be a tentpole. With a wildly original premise and a powerhouse creative team, this could easily become the next TV obsession. Get ready to fall in love or at least mildly swoon because Love Brooklyn is finally making its way to streaming platforms on October 10, 2025 . After a limited theatrical run that had indie film fans buzzing, this stylish, slice-of-life drama is ready to make its big debut from the comfort of your couch. And yes, it’s just in time to pair with your pumpkin spice everything. Directed by newcomer Jessica Pilner and distributed by Greenwich Entertainment, Love Brooklyn  is a love letter to the borough that refuses to be tamed. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Fort Greene and Red Hook, the film follows the intertwining lives of two creative souls: Nia, a muralist trying to reclaim her artistic voice after a public failure, and Trey, a saxophonist with a vintage soul and a messy past. When the two cross paths at a community gallery event, sparks fly and not always the romantic kind. Expect drama, graffiti, late-night diners, and a truly absurd amount of bike rides over the Manhattan Bridge. Critics at smaller festivals have praised the film’s gritty visual palette and authentic portrayal of Brooklyn neighborhoods, and while it doesn’t reinvent the romantic drama wheel, it definitely gives it a fresh coat of spray paint. Think Before Sunrise  meets High Fidelity , but make it Gen Z with side parts and ironic fanny packs. The chemistry between leads Kendra Joseph and Malik Rowe carries the emotional weight here, giving us a refreshingly mature take on modern relationships without feeling like it’s trying too hard. The dialogue sometimes dips into the overly poetic (because of course it does), but it still manages to feel grounded especially when things get messy. Love Brooklyn  doesn’t shy away from tough conversations either. Gentrification, cultural erasure, and artistic burnout all get their screen time. But the film never feels like a lecture. It’s funny, sharp, and occasionally heartbreakingly honest. Basically, it’s everything you’d expect from a film set in a borough that’s equal parts cool and chaotic. So where can you stream it? As of now, Love Brooklyn  is confirmed to be heading to Apple TV  and Plex  on October 10, with more platforms likely to follow. While there’s no official word yet on Netflix or Prime Video, history tells us digital rentals on Amazon, Vudu, and Google Play aren’t far behind. Rob Lowe is putting on the suit and stepping back into the political spotlight, this time with a Secret Service badge instead of a White House staff pass. The Parks and Recreation and 9-1-1 Lonestar alum is officially set to star in The Detail , a new drama in development at NBC that promises presidential intrigue, elite agents, and yes, probably more than a few scenes of stern stares behind aviator sunglasses. The Detail  follows a team of top-tier Secret Service agents assigned to protect the President of the United States. According to the official logline, these agents will juggle the high-stakes world of national security with the messy business of personal lives because apparently even while foiling threats to democracy, someone still forgets to text their spouse back. Created by Jennifer Yee McDevitt, who’s previously written for Over the Moon  and Goodbye Vitamin , the series is being developed by UTV, part of Universal Studio Group. Lowe will also executive produce, proving once again that Rob Lowe contains multitudes: actor, producer, podcast host, and apparently protector of democracy (on TV, at least). If ordered to series, The Detail  would mark Lowe’s return to scripted broadcast television after 9-1-1: Lone Star  wrapped up its five-season run earlier this year. It’s also his first NBC drama since his iconic stint as Sam Seaborn on The West Wing . So yeah, cue the walk-and-talks and dramatic close-ups. The man is back in his element. NBC hasn't announced a premiere date, pilot order, or whether The Detail  will get a straight-to-series pickup, but it’s clearly banking on Lowe’s star power to bring some presidential heat to its drama slate. While Lowe is busy playing America’s last line of defense, he’s also developing a sitcom at ABC called The Ram , continuing to host The Floor  on Fox, and producing multiple films. In other words, the man is everywhere and apparently allergic to taking a break. Stay tuned to see if The Detail  makes it to primetime. If it does, expect political thrills, personal drama, and at least one killer monologue delivered from behind very official sunglasses.

Netflix’s upcoming thriller All The Sinners Bleed just got a whole lot more intriguing with Daniel Ezra officially joining the cast.  The British actor, best known for his standout performance as Spencer James in The CW’s All American , is stepping into a darker, more complex world with his latest role. Ezra will play Marquis Crown, the younger brother of lead character Titus Crown, in what’s shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most ambitious crime dramas to date. Based on S A Cosby’s bestselling novel and adapted for television by Black Panther  co-writer Joe Robert Cole, All The Sinners Bleed  follows Titus Crown (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù), the first Black sheriff in a small Southern county with a legacy as twisted as its backroads. When a serial killer with a God complex begins targeting the Black community, Titus is forced to confront not just his town’s sins but his own haunted past. Ezra’s character, Marquis, is set to bring added emotional depth and tension to the series. As the younger brother of a man carrying the weight of justice and generational trauma on his shoulders, Marquis’s presence is expected to stir family dynamics in unpredictable ways. And let’s be real Ezra knows how to hold his own in high-stakes drama. Joining Ezra in the new lineup is Andrea Cortés ( Mayans M C , Bosch Legacy ), who will play Deputy Carla Ortiz, a sharp and loyal officer in Titus’s precinct. They round out a powerhouse cast that already includes Nicole Beharie as Darlene, Titus’s ever-supportive girlfriend, and the incomparable John Douglas Thompson as Albert Crown, the family’s formidable patriarch. Joe Robert Cole isn’t just writing and showrunning he’s also directing multiple episodes. With executive producers that include Higher Ground Productions, Amblin Television, and Cosby himself, this is not your average crime procedural. Expect deep Southern gothic vibes, intense social commentary, and no shortage of secrets buried just beneath the surface. Daniel Ezra’s move from the football field to the sheriff’s office marks a major pivot and honestly it’s the kind of casting choice that makes you sit up and pay attention. With The Running Man  also on his horizon, Ezra is clearly not playing it safe and we’re all better off for it. Consider this your official reason to mark All The Sinners Bleed  as must-watch TV.

While we are now firmly entrenched in what I like to call “bridge the gap” episodes for the season, the Oct 7 release of Episode 7 of Only Murders in the Building  has the series holding steady with its core strength of quirky comedy, character chemistry, and convincing mystery, to keep you locked in to the bitter end.  Though, at times, this particular episode feels like filler, it does enough of a job to stay engaging as it seeks to move the story forward, or, at the very least, closer to solving this season’s whodunit. Nevertheless, from gratuitous product placements (we see you Apple) to a carousel of celebrity guest appearances, Only Murders continues to solidify its place in the lexicon of pop culture. Season 5 has found the Arconia still at the heart of the murder mystery comedy for leads Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez as our trusty trio of true crime podcasters remains hot on the investigation of a double murder in their beloved apartment complex. Though their crazy work of solving crimes year after year often begs the question that no one is asking, why are the proper authorities not hot on that same trail? Even the Mayor, played by the always hilarious Keegan-Michael Key, seems to turn to them for answers, more often than not. Mayor Tillman’s presence has come in spurts since the season opening memorial service for deceased doorman Lester Coluca. Known for his versatile and energetic acting style, Only Murders is a show custom-made for Key’s talent, which, funny enough, blends elements of screwball humor with character-driven performances. Ever the showman with a background in improv, Key manages to steal every scene he’s in, exuding energy at every turn, whether he’s onscreen for five minutes or two. “Silver Alert,” as the episode is entitled, opens with Mayor Tillman accepting an invitation by the amateur sleuths to be their first guest on their newly revamped podcast now that the bevy of billionaires and would-be murder suspects have taken ownership of their airwaves with their streaming deal debacle of episode 4. Though the interview most likely will never make it to air, Mayor Tillman uses the encounter to enlighten the trio on his relationship with his largest campaign donor, billionaire Tech guru Bash Steed, played by the enigmatic Christoph Waltz. And, of course, the donations could not come without requests, which included finding a job for Steed’s niece as the Mayor’s assistant. It’s not what you know, but who you know, right?! After sending the niece on an errand to keep her out of earshot, the Mayor warns the trio that they are getting warmer with the billionaires topping their suspects list in Lester’s murder. It seems the nefarious trio may be looking to fund a development to build the first ever legit casino in NYC. Tillman encourages Charles, Oliver, and Mabel to further investigate, telling them of a billionaire boys and girls club meeting taking place at a Bash’s villainous lair upstate. Always with a flair for the dramatic and a bit of paranoia about “going to the country,” as it were, and Oliver over prepares for the road trip with all the pomp and circumstance only Oliver can muster, donning a pair of gaudy cowboy boots once gifted to him by the one-and-only Wonder Woman, herself, Lynda Carter. Go big or go home! When they arrive at the address the Mayor provided, our fav super sleuths cross paths with a rather creepy kid whose skin hasn’t seen the sun since birth, whittling his first shiv for some afternoon fun. Hey, kids will be kids. You can’t make this stuff up. Inside the expansive property that reeks of new money trying desperately to appear old, the trio of podcasters find the trio of billionaires engrossed in a wicked OG game of Operation. Yes, that one, and yes, it is always the spleen! Answering the age-old question of what do billionaires do when billionaires are bored. Quickly dispensing of pleasantries, Bash invites the amateur sleuths to stay and watch them play board games to assure that nothing is afoot, particularly, when they merely take home a gold-plated trophy as winner. Nevertheless, the super sleuths opt to split up to get information out of the money-making murderers. Oliver uses the time to confess to Camila White (Renee Zelleweger) that he has accepted an offer on his apartment. She asks for a debt of gratitude for her redecorating gift that obviously scored him the bid.  Throughout this season, Zelleweger has showcased, once again, why she is a two-time Oscar winner with the myriad of ways she completely morphs into her onscreen personas. Though you love to hate her as Camila — the billionaire socialite proving to be a decorative thorn in Oliver’s side, Zelleweger’s performance still carries a relatable vulnerability in this overtly flawed character. With her distinctive breathy vocal delivery, permanently pursed lips, and tone on tone beige as wallpaper fashion ensembles, she embodies the smug rich girl trope in a way that is both fun and campy. Still reeling from being catfished, Charles follows Bash Steed to his garden to watch as the eccentric father slices tree bark to feed to his son, as some new-age nutrition supplement. Mind you, little Algie, is standing in a literal cesspool that looks like a cast off set design from the Addams Family. Charles pulls no punches calling out Daddy Warbucks for supposed murder.  Meanwhile, back in the big house, Mabel finds billionaire black sheep Jay Pflug (Logan Lerman) in the estate’s hallway waving his nine digits around in the air. In between dodging questions and asking her out, Jay lets it slip that the bored billionaires often use creepy game nights to settle important bets, not unlike they did back at the Arconia on the night of Lester’s murder. Oops! Was he supposed to say that?! To call the suspects’ bluff, Mabel challenges them to playing games to get more answers. Despite “giving up the podcast” being on the line to sweeten the deal, Oliver bows out unexpectedly, knowing he now has someone to lose with his new wife on canvas. He dips, leaving his friends to go head-to-head in a rousing game of “name that celebrity.” When it looks as if the billionaires might sweep, Charles and Mabel rally to pull out a win with broadway favorites. Oh, Oliver would be so proud.   The case is cracked wide open when Mabel deliberately breaks the billionaires’ traveling trophy to find a key piece of missing evidence in Lester’s murder!
