What to Watch Sunday, October 25: ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Tracker’ & ‘Marshals’ Lead Tonight's Lineup

Sunday television is bringing murder investigations, Halloween nightmares, holiday romance and enough family complications to keep several therapists employed. FOX celebrates spooky season with The Simpsons annual Treehouse of Horror special, while CBS continues its Sunday drama lineup with Marshals and Tracker.
Meanwhile, Food Network crowns a winner on Halloween Wars, Hallmark explores an alternate Christmas reality, and Bill Murray heads to Ireland for a new Paramount+ docuseries. Between witches, criminals and Christmas wishes, Sunday clearly has no intention of choosing just one holiday.
TV Cave Top Pick: The Simpsons — Treehouse of Horror XXXVII
Our Top Pick goes to The Simpsons, airing at 8 PM ET on FOX.
Springfield is embracing Halloween with its 37th Treehouse of Horror installment, delivering another collection of twisted stories involving America's favorite animated family. This year's adventures include Marge gaining a disturbing new perspective on marriage, Bart and Santa's Little Helper facing a frightening situation, and Homer receiving a driving lesson that promises to be anything but ordinary.
After decades of Halloween specials, The Simpsons still knows how to turn familiar family situations into something delightfully ridiculous. And considering Homer is involved, we're fairly certain whatever happens behind the wheel won't be covered by a standard insurance policy.

‘Marshals’ and ‘Tracker’ Bring the Sunday Drama
CBS begins its primetime lineup with Marshals at 8 PM, as Kayce and Andrea's pursuit of a fugitive leads them toward a dangerous bomber connected to Cal's past. Meanwhile, threats against Belle become increasingly personal, and Miles finds himself keeping a troubling secret from Maddie about Cal's health. Because, naturally, this team couldn't possibly have one uncomplicated week.
At 9 PM, Tracker follows Colter as he investigates the disappearance of a woman who tried to help a frightened teenage runaway. What begins as a missing-person case develops into a disturbing investigation involving abuse, leaving Colter racing to protect two people in danger.
Halloween Finales, Christmas Wishes and Bill Murray
Food Network wraps Season 16 of Halloween Wars at 9 PM, challenging its finalists to build elaborate nightmare-carnival creations. With $30,000 at stake, the remaining teams must impress the judges one final time, and we're expecting plenty of edible monsters and at least one dessert that looks too terrifying to eat.
Meanwhile, Hallmark premieres What If Christmas at 8 PM, starring Lori Loughlin and Tom Cavanagh. The story follows a woman who gets a glimpse of the successful fashion career she once dreamed of, only to discover that her alternate life doesn't include the marriage she knows. It's the classic question of whether having everything you wanted means much if you've lost someone important along the way.
Paramount+ also premieres A Course Called Ireland, following Bill Murray and author Tom Coyne across Ireland's golf courses and communities. The six-part series combines travel, friendship and plenty of unscripted moments, making it an appealing option for anyone who wants something lighter than tonight's murder investigations.
And for football fans, Kansas City visits Seattle for Sunday Night Football at 8:20 PM ET on NBC and Peacock.
Whether you're celebrating Halloween, getting an early start on Christmas or settling in for Sunday-night drama, there's plenty to choose from. The Simpsons earns our Top Pick, but Marshals, Tracker and the Halloween Wars finale aren't far behind.
