This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, family loyalties were evaluated, Forrester Creations suffered a shocking loss, and Katie refused to let Brooke stand in the way of her dreams. Zende finally reached his breaking point, Dylan found herself caught in the middle of a corporate war, and Will made his feelings for Dylan clear. Meanwhile, Steffy struggled with a secret that could destroy her marriage to Finn, leaving viewers wondering how much longer she could keep the truth hidden!

Zende Stays, but Melissa Dylan Is Fired

At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) made an emotional plea to his grandson, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), asking him not to abandon the family business for Katie and Hope’s new venture at Logan. Eric reminded Zende how much he meant to him and promised that things would be different if he stayed. He pledged to ensure Zende’s creative ideas were heard and even promised him a lead designer role on the new line. Touched by his grandfather’s words, Zende agreed to remain at Forrester, believing Eric would finally help him get the recognition he deserved.

Over at Logan, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom), Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) were hopeful that Zende would join their team. Their excitement faded when Zende called to turn down the opportunity, explaining that Eric had convinced him to stay. Hope reminded him that he had been overlooked too many times before, but Zende insisted he believed his grandfather would keep his word. Katie, however, remained skeptical that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) would ever stop favoring their own children and preferred designers.

Meanwhile, tensions between Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and Melissa “Miss” Dylan (Sydney Bullock) reached a boiling point. Electra accused Dylan of disloyalty and insisted she had no place at Forrester after becoming involved with Logan’s business. Dylan tried to explain that she had merely relayed a message and had never encouraged Zende to leave, but Electra refused to listen. R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) sided with Electra, adding to the pressure on Dylan.

When the confrontation reached Ridge and Eric, Zende defended Dylan, arguing that Electra and R.J. were twisting the facts because of their personal feelings. Ridge, however, believed Dylan had shown poor judgment by getting involved with the competition during a corporate battle. Despite Zende’s defense, Ridge fired Dylan and ordered her to pack her belongings. Zende was furious, especially after Eric had just promised him that his voice would finally matter at Forrester.

Zende Gives Ridge an Ultimatum

Zende’s decision to stay at Forrester lasted barely a day. After Ridge refused to reconsider Dylan’s firing, Zende reminded his family that Eric had promised him the authority to make decisions. He demanded that Melissa Dylan be allowed to keep her job, insisting she had done nothing wrong by passing along a message from Hope. But Ridge stood firm, and Zende realized that his grandfather’s promises meant extraordinarily little when they conflicted with Ridge’s wishes.

When Zende declared that he would leave if Dylan was forced out, Ridge called his bluff. Zende was devastated that his own family continued to place R.J. and Electra ahead of him, even after Eric had assured him he was an important part of Forrester’s future. He made it clear that the problem went far beyond Dylan’s dismissal. He had grown tired of being overlooked and watching other people receive opportunities he believed he had earned.

Eric desperately tried to stop his grandson from walking away, but Zende thanked him for his support and insisted he could no longer work under those conditions. He then walked out of Forrester with Dylan, leaving Eric heartbroken and Ridge convinced that the company was being attacked by Logan from every direction.

At Logan, Hope continued to worry about the success of her next fashion line and whether Deke would be able to deliver the designs the company needed. Zende’s departure from Forrester opened the door for a potentially valuable new addition to their team. The fallout from Ridge’s decision was already giving Katie an opportunity she had not expected.

Zende Joins Logan and Will Confesses His Love

The news that Zende had quit Forrester sent shock waves through the fashion house. Eric struggled to understand how things had gone so wrong after he had personally convinced his grandson to stay. Ridge, meanwhile, blamed Katie for luring away yet another member of the Forrester team. Neither man seemed willing to acknowledge that Zende’s frustration had been building for a long time.

Brooke was equally stunned when she learned that Zende had left. She immediately suspected that Katie was deliberately targeting Forrester, accusing her sister of stealing employees, and trying to destroy the family business. Brooke saw Zende’s move as another calculated attempt by Katie to get revenge, but Katie viewed the situation very differently. She had offered talented people an opportunity, and they were making their own decisions about where they wanted to work.

Zende joined Logan, giving Hope and Katie the experienced designer they needed as they worked to establish their new fashion house. His decision represented a major victory for Logan and a painful loss for Forrester, particularly because Eric had believed he had finally persuaded Zende to remain loyal to the family company.

Meanwhile, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) finally stopped holding back his feelings for Dylan. After everything she had endured at Forrester, Will made it clear that his feelings for her were genuine and told her that he loved her. His declaration brought a welcome romantic moment to an otherwise stressful week for Dylan, who had lost her job but gained the support of someone who cared about her.

Katie Refuses to Back Down as Steffy Panics

Brooke decided it was time to confront Katie directly and put an end to the growing conflict between their fashion houses. She accused her sister of deliberately hurting Forrester by recruiting Eric, Hope, and now Zende. Brooke believed Katie was motivated by resentment and determined to prove that she could take away everything Brooke held dear.

Katie refused to accept the accusation that her business decisions were nothing more than revenge. She reminded Brooke that Logan was her company, too, and that she had every right to build it into a successful competitor. When Brooke insisted that the rivalry had gone too far and needed to stop, Katie made her position unmistakably clear: she was not backing down. Their argument revealed just how deeply the professional battle had damaged their relationship, with neither sister prepared to surrender.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) also began worrying about the emotional cost of the feud. While discussing the situation with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), Bill expressed concern that the conflict between Katie and Brooke could permanently destroy their bond. He knew how much Katie loved her sister, and he feared that losing Brooke would cause Katie tremendous pain.

At Forrester, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) faced a far more personal crisis. With Finn preparing to return home early, Steffy was terrified that her husband might discover the truth about her night with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Their encounter had left Steffy pregnant, and she had agreed to pretend to be a surrogate for Carter and Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire), concealing the fact that the baby she was carrying was Carter’s.

Carter urged Steffy to remain calm and reminded her that they had to find a way through the situation together. But Steffy knew that she was facing a terrible dilemma. Finn had previously opposed her to becoming a surrogate, and now she was preparing to lie to him about both the pregnancy and her involvement with Carter. When Finn called to tell her he was on his way home, Steffy struggled to maintain a cheerful façade. Once the call ended, her fear returned, and she wondered how she could possibly look her husband in the eyes and continue lying.

Katie Sends Brooke Away as Steffy Faces the Truth

Brooke made one final attempt to reach Katie, hoping she could repair their fractured relationship before the conflict between Forrester and Logan became irreversible. However, the conversation quickly deteriorated as Brooke accused Katie of using the family name and taking advantage of Eric to build her business. She also criticized Katie for recruiting Hope and Zende, insisting that her sister was motivated by spite rather than a genuine desire to succeed.

Katie was unwilling to accept any more blame for decisions that were not hers alone. She reminded Brooke that the people who had joined Logan had made their own choices, just as Eric and Ridge had made theirs at Forrester. Katie also pointed out that Brooke had already rejected her as family, making it difficult to understand why Brooke now expected her to put their relationship ahead of her independence.

When Brooke attempted to soften the confrontation by appealing to their family history and moving in for a hug, Katie refused to let the argument end with a quick reconciliation. She made it clear that their problems could not simply be brushed aside, telling Brooke it was time for her to leave. Brooke walked away without the resolution she wanted, while Katie was left struggling with the emotional consequences of standing her ground against her own sister.

Meanwhile, Finn (Tanner Novlan) finally returned home to Steffy, who was overwhelmed by guilt and fear. She knew that their marriage had always been built on honesty, and she could no longer ignore the secret hanging over their family. As Finn tried to understand what was troubling his wife, Steffy struggled to find the courage to tell him what had happened.

Steffy finally admitted that she had done something for which she desperately needed his forgiveness. However, she stopped short of revealing the full truth, leaving Finn without an explanation and Steffy facing the terrifying prospect of what would happen when the secret came out. Her confession ended the week on an agonizing cliffhanger, with her marriage hanging in balance.

The Week Ends with Two Families on the Brink

The week of October 12–16 brought major changes to both the business and personal lives of the Los Angeles families. Zende finally reached his breaking point and chose to leave Forrester rather than continue accepting promises that never seemed to translate into respect. His move to Logan strengthened Katie and Hope’s new venture while leaving Eric mourning the loss of his grandson’s loyalty.

At the same time, Brooke and Katie’s disagreement became a deeply personal battle that neither sister appeared ready to end. Brooke believed Katie was seeking revenge, while Katie insisted she was simply claiming the opportunity to succeed on her own terms. Their painful confrontation demonstrated that the damage to their relationship extended well beyond the fashion business.

But the biggest secret of all remained Steffy’s. Her fear of losing Finn had become impossible to ignore, and her attempt to prepare him for a confession only raised more questions about what she was prepared to reveal. With Carter also worried about the consequences of their actions, the stage was set for a devastating confrontation.

As the week ended, Zende had found a new home at Logan, Brooke and Katie were further apart than ever, and Steffy was finally preparing to face Finn with a truth that could change their marriage forever.

My Final Thoughts

If Brooke is going to come barging into Katie’s office, Katie should smack her just like Brooke slapped her! Brooke knows dang well she has been wrong in all of this. She was the one who said Katie was not her sister, so why is she suddenly expecting Katie to put their relationship first? You cannot throw your own sister away and then get upset when she decides to stand on her own two feet. Katie has every right to build Logan into a successful fashion house, and I am glad she is finally standing her ground. Brooke needs to take a good, long look in the mirror before she starts pointing fingers at Katie!

Ridge and Eric doing a complete 180 on Zende so quickly was unexpected. I honestly thought Zende would stay at Forrester Creations, especially after Eric made such an emotional plea for him to remain. ALSO, I was SO WRONG! I did not think Zende would leave Forrester Creations. Those scenes were powerful! Zende has spent so much time feeling overlooked and watching him finally reach his breaking point was satisfying. Eric made promises, but Zende needed more than pretty words. He needed to see real change, and when that did not happen, he chose himself. I must give Zende credit for finally standing up for his worth. Now, I want to see what he can accomplish at Logan!

Carter and Steffy are playing a DANGEROUS game. How in the world do they think this is going to stay a secret? Steffy is pregnant with Carter’s baby, and they are trying to pass it off as a surrogacy arrangement. What could possibly go wrong? EVERYTHING! Finn is her husband, and the longer she keeps this from him, the worse the fallout will be when the truth comes out. I understand that Steffy is scared, but there is no way this elaborate lie is going to hold up forever. And Carter, what exactly is your plan here? Because I am not seeing how any of this ends well for either of you!

Now, Finn may not be the brightest when it comes to his personal life, BUT professionally, he is a good doctor. I need him to start putting those medical instincts to work and pay attention to what is happening right in front of him! How can he be so perceptive at the hospital and so oblivious when it comes to his own marriage? I am waiting for the moment when something finally clicks and he starts asking the right questions. When he discovers what Steffy and Carter have been hiding, I expect the fallout to be explosive!

And can we PLEASE talk about Melissa Dylan and Will Spencer? THEY ARE FREAKING HOT!!! These two have the kind of chemistry that makes me excited about a young couple on a soap again. They feel like an OLD-SCHOOL SOAP YOUNG COUPLE, and I am here for it! The chemistry is there, the attraction is there, and I want to see this relationship get the time and attention it deserves. Dylan has been through enough lately, and Will has made it clear that his feelings for her are real. Give me the romance, the passion, the drama, and the inevitable complications! I want to see these two fall hard for each other and keep us invested in their love story.

Overall, this was a week full of surprises, emotional confrontations, and decisions that could change everything. Zende leaving Forrester was the shocker I did not see coming, Katie is finally standing up to Brooke, and Steffy and Carter are setting themselves up for a disaster. But my biggest excitement right now is Dylan and Will. These two have that classic soap magic, and I am ready to see where their story goes next!
