Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 Trailer: Vicki Thinks She Runs the Show—Carmella Thinks Otherwise

Eight women in black gowns pose with oranges before an ornate palm-lined gate at sunset, with 20 on the wall.

The oranges have been polished, the tequila is chilled, and the Gates of Coto de Caza are swinging wide open. Bravo finally dropped the official supertease and cast lineup for Real Housewives of OC Season 20, and whew, the ladies are not playing around for this historic milestone. If you thought the franchise was cooling down, think again, because the official announcement confirms this season is serving pure, unadulterated high drama. Scheduled for a supersized premiere on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET/PT, the milestone season marks two decades of the show that started it all. For those who prefer their shade with morning coffee, episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.

Vicki Gunvalson has officially reclaimed her full-time orange! After years of lurking in the "friend of" shadows and yelling about family vans, the franchise creator is back to show everyone how it is done. Naturally, she is wasting zero time asserting her dominance. The biggest takeaway from the new trailer is the immediate friction between Vicki and the latest addition to the zip code, Carmella Garcia. Carmella is a luxury realtor, former WWE wrestler, and former Playboy Playmate of the Year. When Vicki boldly barks that she does not like new girls and reminds her that she started the entire franchise, Carmella doesn't blink. Instead, she hits the OG with a flawless, lethal comeback, stating that everything has an expiration date. Not us feeling a certain way about a newbie clearing Vicki in under thirty seconds!

While Vicki is busy fighting the new girl, the rest of the veteran cast is dealing with some heavy emotional baggage. Shannon Storms Beador is navigating single life in Corona del Mar and attempting to get her financial future in order under Vicki's watchful eye. However, things get rocky as she tests her boundaries with Tamra Judge and challenges her bond with Jennifer Pedranti. Over in the land of luxury, Fancy Pants Heather Dubrow is facing a massive invasion of her perfectly manicured space. Her mother, Carole, moves cross-country to Los Angeles, completely flipping Heather’s world upside down and ruffling plenty of feathers.

The rest of the cast is not escaping the tension either. Emily Simpson is facing major marital strife with Shane, openly admitting to the group that they might be at their breaking point. Meanwhile, Gina Kirschenheiter is living a glamorous new lifestyle that has the rest of the women whispering about her sudden financial choices. Jennifer Pedranti is left acting as the resident peacemaker while juggling her fiancé Ryan and a house full of teenagers.

Because it is Season 20, Bravo is leaning heavily into nostalgia. Keep your eyes peeled for guest appearances and cameos from early-season icons like Jeana Keough, Jo de la Rosa, Lynne Curtin, and Tammy Knickerbocker. To keep things fresh, the show is also taking the ladies international, tracking explosive group trips to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and their very first cast getaway to Tokyo, Japan. By the time the trailer ends with Vicki locked behind a door yelling for everyone to get out of her home, it is abundantly clear that the O.C. is still the reigning champion of reality television.

Drop your predictions in the comments below: are you Team Vicki or Team Carmella for the upcoming feud, and do you think Shane and Emily will actually make it to the reunion?
