Raven-Symoné Returns to The View Nearly a Decade After Leaving the Talk Show

Well, look who's back at the Hot Topics table! Raven-Symoné is returning to ABC's The View, nearly a decade after leaving the daytime talk show, and fans of her outspoken commentary are getting another opportunity to see her in action.
The actress and television personality is joining the panel as a guest co-host on October 15 and 16, 2026, as part of The View's milestone 30th season celebration. Her return marks another familiar face revisiting the daytime institution that has spent three decades delivering heated debates, memorable interviews, and the occasional conversation that takes a spectacular turn.
Raven Returns to Familiar Territory
Raven-Symoné previously served as a permanent co-host from 2015 to 2016, bringing her distinctive personality and often unpredictable commentary to the table. Her time on the program included plenty of memorable moments, with her opinions sometimes sparking debates both on the show and across social media.
Now, she's returning alongside the show's current panelists, including Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. The appearance comes while longtime co-host Joy Behar is away recovering from a shoulder injury. Raven's temporary return offers a familiar voice during the show's anniversary celebrations, although there's no indication that she's rejoining the panel permanently.
The View Celebrates 30 Seasons
Raven isn't the only former co-host returning for the celebration. Throughout its anniversary season, The View has welcomed familiar personalities including Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, and Sherri Shepherd. The reunions offer a nostalgic look at the show's history while highlighting how much the program has evolved since Barbara Walters launched it in 1997.
Raven and her wife, Miranda Maday, are also scheduled to participate in an episode of The View's companion podcast, Behind the Table, giving fans another opportunity to hear from the former co-host.
Whether Raven returns with a controversial opinion, an unexpected confession, or simply a little nostalgia, one thing is certain: she's never been someone who disappears into the background.
And with The View celebrating 30 seasons, bringing back some of its most recognizable former personalities feels like a fitting way to revisit the show's history.
