Hillman Is Calling! Netflix Reveals First Look at A Different World Sequel Series

Netflix just dropped the very first-look photos for its highly anticipated A Different World sequel series, and the nostalgia is hitting heavy. Exactly 39 years after the original groundbreaking sitcom first graced our television screens on NBC, the streaming giant is reviving the legacy of Hillman College. The newly released images offer a glimpse into a modernized Hillman campus. While the late-80s bright lighting is gone, replaced by a much darker, highly cinematic visual style, the soul of the fictional HBCU remains fully intact. Entering Hillman as a freshman, she faces the ultimate television dilemma: finding her own voice while walking the hallways where her parents are treated like absolute royalty. The first-look introduces an entirely new ensemble of fresh faces ready to make their mark on the legacy. Joining Moon are Alijah Kai, Cornell Young IV, Jordan Aaron Hall, Kennedi Reece, and Chibuikem Uche.
