Lauren Cohan Joins Prime Video's Stillwater Horror Series Alongside Mark O'Brien and Mia Tomlinson

Lauren Cohan is trading the zombie apocalypse for a town where nobody can die. The Walking Dead star has joined Prime Video's upcoming horror thriller Stillwater, and while immortality might sound like a pretty sweet deal, this particular town comes with one very disturbing catch. Nobody gets to leave.
Cohan joins the eight-episode series as Catherine “Cat” Keegan, alongside newly announced cast members Mark O'Brien and Mia Tomlinson. The trio will star opposite Ben Hardy, who was previously announced as the show's lead.
Meet the New Residents of Stillwater
Cohan's character, Cat, is a former homecoming queen whose charming small-town personality hides years of resentment and regret. She's fiercely loyal to her husband, Ted, and has spent decades convincing herself that the questionable things they've done to protect their town's secret are justified. Something tells us Cat isn't exactly the welcoming committee you'd want greeting you at the city limits.
O'Brien will portray Ted Keegan, Cat's husband and a sheriff's deputy who takes enforcing Stillwater's rules very seriously. A military veteran and farmer, Ted is willing to use violence to maintain order, which probably makes him one of the last people anyone would want to encounter while trying to escape.
Tomlinson plays Laura Quinn, Cat's younger sister and a single mother whose life was forever changed when the town's mysterious circumstances began. Her character adds another complicated family dynamic to a place already overflowing with secrets.
What's Stillwater About?
Based on the graphic novel by Chip Zdarsky and Ramón K. Pérez, Stillwater follows Daniel West (Hardy), an ex-convict who receives a mysterious letter promising answers about his past and a substantial inheritance.
He travels to the seemingly ordinary town of Stillwater, only to discover that its residents don't age or die. Unfortunately, eternal life comes with a rather inconvenient rule: nobody is allowed to leave. The series comes from Greg Berlanti and Carly Wray, who serve as writers and executive producers, with Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions, and Skybound Entertainment producing.
For Cohan, the project marks another venture into a world where death doesn't follow the usual rules. After years of fighting to survive on The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Dead City, she'll now find herself in a place where dying isn't even an option.
Prime Video has not announced a premiere date for Stillwater, but with its cast continuing to grow, this creepy little town is becoming one worth keeping an eye on.
