Landman is officially back to work.

Paramount+ announced Wednesday that production has begun on Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace’s hit drama in Fort Worth, Texas. The new season will once again bring Billy Bob Thornton back into the chaos of the West Texas oil business, and this time a few familiar faces are getting much bigger seats at the table.

Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Menuez and Francesca Xuereb have all been promoted to series regulars for

Season 3. The four join a returning ensemble that includes Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter and Sam Elliott, along with Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie and James Jordan.

As previously announced, Lioness and The Penguin star Michael Kelly is also joining the cast this season, giving Landman yet another major name to throw into an already packed ensemble.

The series, co-created by Sheridan and Wallace, is set against the boomtowns of West Texas and follows the roughnecks, executives and billionaires all trying to make their fortunes in the oil business. If the first two seasons taught us anything, it is that money, power and family drama tend to become one very combustible mix on this show.

Billy Bob Thornton leads the series as Tommy Norris, while Landman continues expanding the world around him with each season. Promoting four recurring cast members to regular status suggests Season 3 could dig even deeper into some of the characters who have already been circling the main story.

And honestly, Landman does not exactly suffer from a shortage of personalities. Between Thornton, Moore, Garcia, Elliott and now Kelly joining the mix, Season 3 is shaping up to have enough star power to light up half of West Texas before anyone even starts drilling.

Production taking place in Fort Worth also keeps the series firmly rooted in Texas as Sheridan continues building out one of Paramount+’s biggest dramas.

No Season 3 premiere date has been announced yet, but with cameras now rolling, the next chapter of Landman is officially underway.
