Keanu Reeves Isn’t Done Racing Yet! Hooligans Scores a Season 2 Renewal at Samsung TV Plus

Keanu Reeves may be able to outrun just about everybody as John Wick, but these days he's trading movie shootouts for motorcycles. And apparently, viewers are here for it.

Samsung TV Plus has officially renewed Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger for Season 2, giving Reeves, Hollinger, and the ARCH Motorcycle team another opportunity to take viewers inside the very competitive world of professional motorcycle racing. The renewal comes before Season 1 has even crossed the finish line, with the finale set to premiere Sunday, August 16.

From the Garage to the Racetrack

For anyone who hasn't jumped into Hooligans yet, the six episode first season follows Reeves and his longtime business partner Gard Hollinger as their ARCH Motorcycle team makes the leap from building high end motorcycles to competing professionally in MotoAmerica.

The series follows riders Corey Alexander and Jeremy McWilliams alongside Reeves, Hollinger, and the rest of the team as they attempt to prove their relatively small operation can compete against established names in motorsports.

And that's where Hooligans becomes more than simply "Keanu Reeves likes motorcycles."

The series gets into the work behind racing, from building and perfecting the bikes to everything that happens once the team reaches the track. There's also a pretty classic underdog story sitting at the center of it all. ARCH may know how to build a motorcycle, but professional racing is an entirely different beast.

Samsung TV Plus Is Betting on More Original Programming

The Season 2 renewal is also a pretty big deal for Samsung TV Plus. Hooligans was the streamer's first original docuseries released under its Samsung TV Plus Exclusives banner, so bringing it back for another season suggests the experiment worked.

Samsung TV Plus says the series found momentum with viewers from the beginning, with the combination of motorcycle culture, craftsmanship, racing, and the personalities behind ARCH helping it connect beyond traditional motorsports fans.

The platform has been expanding its Exclusives lineup beyond Hooligans. Its original programming also includes the four part scripted anthology Unlikely Romances, presented by Dhar Mann Studios.

Samsung TV Plus is leaning even further into racing content this summer with the launch of the MotoAmericaTV Channel, a 24/7 destination featuring more than 200 hours of programming. The channel includes live races, full race replays, practice and qualifying sessions, behind the scenes footage, archival content, and coverage of the 2026–2027 MotoAmerica season.

Basically, if motorcycles are your thing, Samsung TV Plus would very much like your attention.

What’s Next for Hooligans Season 2?

Details surrounding the second season are being kept under wraps for now, so we'll have to wait to find out exactly where Reeves, Hollinger, and the ARCH team are headed next.

Reeves and Hollinger will return as stars and executive producers. Sharon Hollinger, Carter Skeath, Chance Wright, Rick DeOliveira, and John Stevens also serve as executive producers, with Alan Bloom returning as showrunner. V10 Entertainment produces the series alongside Thank You Pictures and Trojan Horse Productions.

Before we start looking too far ahead, though, there's still some unfinished business on the track. The Season 1 finale of Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger premieres Sunday, August 16 at 9 p.m. ET on Samsung TV Plus.

With Season 2 already secured, fans can head into the finale knowing this racing experiment isn't ending anytime soon. Considering ARCH started this journey looking to prove it could hang with the big names of professional racing, getting another season to continue that story feels pretty fitting. Now we just need to know what they're racing toward next.
