HBO’s It’s Florida, Man. Renewed for Season 3: The Sunshine State Gets Even Wilder

HBO has officially renewed its late-night comedy series It’s Florida, Man. for a third season, proving that the Sunshine State’s weirdness is truly endless and endlessly entertaining. The first two seasons are already streaming on HBO Max, giving fans plenty of wild tales to binge before the new season drops.


Produced by Rough House Pictures (the team behind Eastbound & Down and The Righteous Gemstones), It’s Florida, Man. thrives on dramatizing true stories pulled straight from Florida’s headlines. The series blends real-life accounts from everyday Floridians with playful reenactments by a rotating cast of comedians and actors. It’s equal parts absurd and heartfelt, offering a comedic lens on viral stories, bizarre local news, and the state’s undeniable charm.



HBO executive Nina Rosenstein gushed about the renewal, saying, “Season three is just more proof that Florida remains undefeated – there’s no shortage of wild-but-true stories and an incredible cast of actors game enough to bring them to life.” Executive producer Danny McBride added, “Every time we think the stories can’t get any wilder, Florida proves us wrong. We can’t wait to dive back in and celebrate the weird, wonderful spirit of the state.”


Season 2 featured an eclectic and hilarious lineup of guest stars, including Adam DeVine, Tiffany Haddish, Johnny Knoxville, Taika Waititi, Haley Joel Osment, Rita Ora, and Bert Kreischer. With such a mix of comedic talent, each episode feels like a rollercoaster through Florida’s bizarre backwaters, beaches, and basements, sometimes all in the same night.

Created by Mark Herwick and executive produced by Jeff Tomsic, Danny McBride, and Brandon James, the show has quickly cemented itself as a must-watch for anyone fascinated by the state’s strange headlines and wacky culture.
