General Hospital Weekly Recap: Britt and Rocco Flee as Brennan Wakes Up

A new PCPD detective arrived in Port Charles as Jonathan Bennett debuted as Detective Joe Fitzpatrick. While his future in town remains unclear, he wasted no time making enemies after arresting Curtis.

Curtis’ confrontation with Isaiah turned violent at the Metro Court Gardens. After accusing Isaiah of causing Jordan’s accident and fleeing the scene, Curtis punched him, leaving Isaiah with 11 fractures in his hand along with severe tendon damage that may require multiple surgeries.

Willow successfully helped get Anna transferred back to a private French clinic, preventing her from being sent to a state-run psychiatric prison. Anna’s charges were also dropped, though she cannot leave until doctors medically clear her.

Britt and Rocco fled Port Charles after Britt warned Sonny about Dalton’s death and realized Cullum was closing in. Laura later gave Lulu and Ethan her blessing to leave town with Rocco in order to protect him. Valentin prepared to travel to France to rescue Anna after learning she had been recaptured and transferred to a dangerous long-term psychiatric facility. His determination showed Carly how deeply he still cares for Anna.

Jack Brennan finally woke from his coma after suffering a stroke and stopped Nina from administering another dose of the paralytic drug. Later, Cullum visited Brennan in the ICU to taunt him and reveal plans to send him to Turning Woods.

Anna briefly escaped from the mental facility in France before being recaptured near the Swiss border. Authorities prepared to transfer her to a secure psychiatric institution for patients considered dangerous to themselves or others.

Jordan finally managed to leave her apartment to bail Curtis out of jail. Though upset by Curtis’ arrest, she later admitted she was proud of herself for facing the outside world again after the accident. Rocco spiraled as pressure mounted around Charlotte and Danny’s reckless behavior. He nearly involved Gio before deciding to seek Britt’s help instead, while Gio turned to Dante for help protecting Rocco.

Cullum discovered Danny and Charlotte at Wyndemere and later realized who truly shot him. His search for answers quickly turned toward Rocco Falconeri. Alexis followed a lead involving Delilah Wilson’s connection to the New York art world and traveled to Manhattan with Ava to investigate further at the Hammet Gallery.

Gio played guitar in the Quartermaine living room while Sonny stopped by looking for Brook Lynn. Their conversation turned heartfelt as Gio opened up about rediscovering his passion for music and feeling closer to his late mother through Brook Lynn’s encouragement. Sonny reassured Gio that Brook Lynn would guide both him and Trina well in the music business.

At Anna and Emma’s apartment, Felicia helped Emma prepare a homemade dinner for Gio. The evening quickly became emotional after Emma accidentally broke a treasured mug she had made for Anna as a child. Emma admitted she felt guilty for being happy while her grandmother remained institutionalized overseas. Felicia reassured her that Anna would always want her happiness first.

Laura later arrived at the PCPD with devastating news about Anna. After another failed escape attempt in France, Anna had been recaptured and was being transferred to a long-term psychiatric institution for dangerous patients. Emma broke down over the update, refusing to believe her grandmother belonged in such a place. Gio comforted Emma and promised to stand by her no matter what happened.

Meanwhile, Curtis confronted Isaiah at the Metro Court Gardens over Jordan’s accident. Convinced Isaiah was responsible for the hit-and-run, Curtis repeatedly accused him of covering his tracks. Isaiah fired back, accusing Curtis of using the situation as an excuse because he resented Isaiah’s growing role in Portia’s life. Tensions exploded when Isaiah claimed he would be a better father figure than Curtis ever could be. Curtis punched him, badly damaging Isaiah’s hand before Detective Joe Fitzpatrick arrived and arrested Curtis for assault.

At GH, doctors confirmed Isaiah suffered 11 fractures along with tendon damage that could permanently affect his hand. Portia blamed Curtis for letting his anger spiral out of control, while Isaiah struggled to process the possibility of multiple surgeries and a difficult recovery.

Jordan was stunned when she learned Curtis had been arrested. Despite her frustrations, she went to the PCPD herself to bail him out. The experience marked a major breakthrough for Jordan, who admitted later she felt proud for finally leaving her apartment and facing the public again after her traumatic accident.

Detective Fitzpatrick immediately questioned whether Curtis’ relationship with former police commissioner Jordan Ashford would create complications for the case. Though Fitzpatrick initially considered resigning after realizing how politically connected Curtis was, Dante encouraged him to stay, assuring him he had handled the arrest properly.

Elsewhere, Carly became increasingly worried about Josslyn’s disappearance and refused to continue pretending everything was normal. Valentin soon received word about Anna’s recapture and announced he was prepared to fly to France to rescue her himself, leaving Carly stunned by how determined and emotional he had become.

At Wyndemere, Britt taunted Cullum about his shooting while secretly meeting with Rocco. Danny and Charlotte overheard conversations involving Britt’s mysterious project connected to Sidwell and Cullum, placing themselves in serious danger. Cullum later caught the teens snooping around the property and made it clear he knew exactly who they were.

Rocco became increasingly overwhelmed as Danny and Charlotte continued taking reckless risks. Though he briefly considered involving Gio, he instead rushed to Britt for help while Gio alerted Dante that something was seriously wrong with Rocco.

Alexis also became concerned after uncovering new information about Delilah Wilson’s background in the New York art scene. She convinced Ava to accompany her to Manhattan in hopes of learning more through connections at the Hammet Gallery.

At the same time, Lucas and Pascal quietly agreed to hide their involvement in Marco’s death after Pascal admitted he informed Cullum about the missing vials of Britt’s medication. Their silence ultimately helped set deadly events into motion.

Inside the secret Wyndemere cell, Josslyn continued battling Cassius psychologically while searching for any opportunity to escape. After discovering a hidden message Anna had scratched into the wall months earlier, Josslyn realized she was trapped in the same place Anna had once been held captive.

Brennan’s condition also took a shocking turn after Willow and Nina secretly administered another dose of the paralytic drug while visiting him at GH. Their comedic bickering over maintaining cover nearly fell apart when Brennan suddenly regained consciousness and stopped Nina before she could inject him again.

Cullum later visited Brennan in the ICU and openly tormented him while discussing newly uncovered information tied to the WSB investigation. He also informed Brennan that Turning Woods was likely in his future.

Lulu made plans to flee Port Charles with Rocco after realizing Cullum’s investigation was getting dangerously close. Ethan agreed to help them disappear and protect Rocco at all costs. Laura later gave the pair her blessing after understanding how serious the threat had become.

Dante strongly opposed the plan to make Rocco a fugitive, but events escalated quickly once Cullum began actively searching for him at GH. Britt rushed Rocco into hiding after realizing he was no longer safe.

The week ended with Dante racing to Britt’s office searching for his son, only to discover Elizabeth locked inside a closet while Britt and Rocco disappeared from Port Charles together.
