General Hospital Weekly Recap: Curtis Is Found Guilty as Michael Makes a Shocking Deal With Willow

Port Charles had plenty of family drama, relationship trouble and courtroom tension this week on General Hospital, but two stories ultimately stole the show. Curtis finally learned his fate after standing trial, while Michael revealed just how much he knows about Willow and Drew. Meanwhile, Charlotte’s living situation caused problems for Lulu and Rocco, Britt went looking for answers about Cassius, and Jacinda made a heartbreaking decision that could change everything for her and Michael.

Anna arrived at General Hospital for a routine appointment, where Felicia questioned her while she waited for a scheduled blood test. Anna was more interested in figuring out how Felicia tracked her down, while Felicia wanted to know how she was adjusting. Anna’s attention eventually shifted to Britt, who was struggling to haul softball equipment back into GH when Dr. Tristan Roberts asked the important question: Did they at least win?

Britt had something much more serious on her mind. She asked Anna to use her WSB connections to uncover details about Cassius’ death, but Anna refused. Things got heated enough between the two women that Felicia had to intervene before their argument went any further. Later, Anna couldn’t seem to stop watching Britt from across the Metro Court Pool while spending time with Emma. Britt, meanwhile, gave Rocco a major update when she told him she does not have Huntington’s disease.

Speaking of Rocco, Lulu made a difficult decision regarding Charlotte. During dinner with Laura at Bobbie’s, Lulu admitted she might have to allow Charlotte to stay with Valentin. She hated the idea, but she also knew it was what Charlotte wanted. Charlotte and Rocco eventually arrived, and while Charlotte was thrilled with Lulu’s decision, Rocco definitely was not.

Rocco later went to Sonny for some grandfatherly support and explained what was happening with Charlotte. He also continued bonding with Scout at the Metro Court Pool, where the two connected over their respective parental problems.

Earlier, Danny had chastised Scout for not completing the number of swimming laps she promised, while Jason and Drew had their own conversation about the kids. Drew made his position very clear: he does not want Danny anywhere near Scout.

Drew’s complicated relationship with his daughter became even more apparent when he spotted Scout sitting by the pool having a snack and hesitated before approaching her. Considering everything happening in Drew’s life lately, that small moment said quite a bit.

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn and Chase returned from a walk with baby Phoebe and apparently decided the kitchen was the perfect place for a passionate kiss. Unfortunately for them, Trina and Gio have impeccable bad timing and walked right in. They were there looking for food and to show Brook Lynn the song catalog, but Trina also opened up about Curtis’ trial and her frustration over her father’s determination to make Isaiah guilty of something he did not do.

Trina’s fear over Curtis eventually became overwhelming. While at Bobbie’s with Kai, she began having a panic attack as she struggled with the possibility of her father going to prison. Kai tried to distract her with the idea of going to King’s Beach for a party with his teammates, but Curtis’ trial was understandably never far from her mind.

Elsewhere, Gio returned to his lifeguarding job and got a surprise when Emma snuck up behind him and hugged him while he was reprimanding a kid at the pool. Emma had exciting camping news to share, and later discussed her veterinary school prerequisite classes with Anna. Gio eventually caught up with Trina and Kai and filled them in on the Willow and Michael fight he witnessed at the Quartermaine mansion.

And there was definitely something to tell. Jacinda met Michael at the Metro Court Gardens and revealed what happened when she brought Nina’s dry cleaning to her home, including the rather significant detail that she drugged Willow’s drink. Willow had awakened on Nina’s sofa unable to remember why she was there, with Nina explaining that she had been worried and decided to let her sleep it off.

Jacinda ultimately agreed to leave town because she did not want her presence to cost Michael custody of his children. Her farewell with Michael was surprisingly poignant and emotional, making their goodbye hit much harder than expected.

Michael barely had time to process Jacinda leaving before Willow arrived at the Quartermaine mansion ready for another confrontation. She found Michael putting away cookies and immediately asked about Wiley and Amelia. That was when Michael finally put his cards on the table: He knows Willow shot Drew.

Instead of immediately blowing everything up, Michael and Willow made a deal. After everything these two have put each other through, Michael knowing the truth about Drew’s shooting changes the entire dynamic between them. The question now is how long this arrangement can possibly hold before somebody breaks it.

Josslyn also had a busy week. She stormed into Carly’s kitchen while Carly and Valentin were preparing dinner and unloaded about what was bothering her. Valentin, who has already rented himself a new house, joined Carly in warning Joss to take her father’s “gift” seriously. Joss later met with Jack Brennan at the Metro Court Gardens to discuss her next WSB assignment, because apparently there is never a dull day when your side job involves international espionage.

Joss also had a cute confrontation with Hudson at the Metro Court Pool and schooled him on proper pool etiquette. Lucy and Serena were nearby discussing how things were going between Serena and Michael, with Serena revealing that Michael was fine with her working at Deception.

Jordan had her own meeting with Valentin at the Metro Court Gardens after he reminded her that he saved her life and asked for a favor. Naturally, consultant fees eventually became part of the conversation. She later had lunch with Curtis and told him she understood why he kept quiet about Valentin and what happened on the night of the accident.

Cody stopped by Molly’s courtroom to congratulate her on winning the Sidwell case, which means Sidwell is headed to prison. Drew and Martin were already looking ahead, with Drew reviewing Sidwell’s impressive list of holdings. Ric also stopped by Sonny’s place to ask whether he had heard the Sidwell news, and of course Sonny already knew.

But the biggest courtroom drama belonged to Curtis. Marshall and Stella worried at home while awaiting the verdict and prayed for his acquittal. Martin met with ADA Lansing-Davis outside the courtroom to discuss the jury deliberations and possible outcome, while Curtis arrived with Jordan looking remarkably calm despite acknowledging that he could be headed to prison.

Trina and Kai showed up to support him, with Trina making it clear that nothing would keep her away when her father needed her. Unfortunately, the support could not change what came next. The jury returned and found Curtis Ashford guilty. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison with the possibility of parole after two years, delivering a devastating blow to Curtis and his family after weeks of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, Portia shared a loving hug with Isaiah, but things between Isaiah and Jordan were noticeably colder. After the verdict, Isaiah was peacefully having a drink at the Metro Court Gardens when Jordan arrived. He got up, said hello and walked right past her.

Between Curtis receiving a 10-year sentence, Michael revealing he knows Willow shot Drew, Jacinda leaving Port Charles and Britt continuing to dig into Cassius’ death, General Hospital left several major stories ready to explode next week. Curtis may have received a verdict, but something tells us the fight over what really happened is far from finished.
