FROM Renewed for Season 5: MGM+ Confirms Final Chapter for Its Most-Watched Mystery Thriller

MGM+ is officially closing the book, on its own terms. The streaming service has confirmed that its hit mystery series FROM has been renewed for a fifth and final season, setting the stage for a planned conclusion to one of television’s most talked-about puzzle-box dramas.

The announcement lands just ahead of the Season 4 premiere on April 19, giving fans both reassurance and a looming sense of finality. Michael Wright, global head of MGM+, also underscored the network’s confidence in the series, praising its cinematic scale, storytelling ambition, and dedicated fanbase. Production on the final season is scheduled to begin later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a premiere targeted for 2027.

The series stars Harold Perrineau alongside a strong ensemble cast including Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, and David Alpay, among others. Their performances have helped ground the show’s increasingly surreal narrative in emotional stakes that keep viewers invested even when answers remain frustratingly out of reach.
