Everything We Know About XO, Kitty Season 3: Senior Year, Summer Flings, and the Min Ho Era

A couple smiling at each other under a blooming pink cherry blossom tree, creating a romantic and joyful mood in a park setting.

Buckle up, Upper East Siders of Seoul or whatever we’re calling the elite student body of KISS these days. After a Season 2 finale that left our collective jaws on the floor (and Kitty and Min Ho on a plane to Busan), the wait for XO, Kitty Season 3 is finally reaching its fever pitch. Netflix has officially confirmed that our favorite meddling matchmaker is returning to finish what she started, and honestly, it’s about time.

If you thought Kitty Covey’s junior year was a mess of international proportions, you haven’t seen anything yet. Between secret siblings, fake dating tropes, and a love triangle that’s getting more crowded than a Seoul subway at rush hour, Season 3 is shaping up to be the series' most chaotic installment. Here is the lowdown on the release date, the cast shakeups, and the plot twists we’re tracking at The TV Cave.

The Release Date: Mark Your Calendars

Netflix has officially set the XO, Kitty Season 3 release date for Thursday, April 2, 2026. True to form, the streaming giant is dropping all eight episodes at once. It’s the perfect spring break binge, provided you’ve finished your homework (unlike Kitty, who seems to spend more time on romance than her GPA).

Where Do We Pick Up?

Season 3 isn’t just jumping back into the classroom. The premiere is set to tackle the immediate aftermath of the Season 2 cliffhanger. We’re heading straight into the "Sugar Daddy Tour" Min Ho’s hilariously named summer excursion—which means the show will finally break out of the school walls to give us some high-gloss Busan scenery.

The focus this year is Senior Year. Kitty is entering her final stretch at the Korean Independent School of Seoul, and the stakes have shifted from "Who am I?" to "Where am I going?" and "Who am I taking with me?" While Season 2 was largely about Kitty’s self-discovery and her feelings for Yuri, Season 3 seems to be firmly pivoting toward the Min Ho vs. Dae (or perhaps someone entirely new) endgame.

New Faces and Fresh Drama

You can’t have a new season of a teen drama without some fresh blood to stir the pot. Netflix has announced three major additions to the XO, Kitty Season 3 cast:

  • Sule Thelwell joins as Marius, a character who is rumored to be a former roommate of Q’s and a potential wrench in the existing social dynamics.

  • Soy Kim and Christine Hwang are also joining the fray as Yisoo and Gigi, respectively.

  • In a move that surprised no one (because we love her), Hojo Shin, who plays the scene-stealing Jiwon, has been promoted to a series regular.

Behind the scenes, the vibe might shift slightly as Valentina Garza (Jane the Virgin) takes over as showrunner. Expect the same DNA we loved from Jenny Han’s world, but perhaps with a bit more of that "mature senior year" grit.

First-look photos recently released show Kitty and Min Ho looking suspiciously cozy under some very romantic-looking cherry blossoms. It seems the "enemies-to-lovers" slow burn is officially reaching a boiling point. Whether you’re Team Dae, Team Min Ho, or Team Kitty-Needs-To-Be-Single-For-Five-Minutes, there’s no denying the chemistry is the primary engine moving this season forward.

Kitty Covey came to Seoul to find her mother’s history, but she’s ending her journey by writing her own. If Season 3 delivers on half the promises the Season 2 finale made, we’re in for a wild, K-Drama-fueled ride.

Do you think Kitty and Min Ho are endgame, or is there another twist waiting in the wings? Drop your theories in the comments below and stay tuned to The TV Cave for our full episode-by-episode recaps this April.
