Deli Boys Season 2 Premiere Date: The Dar Brothers Return to Clean Up Their Mess

Two men in white robes in a hotel room; one on the phone, the other sitting by a table with food. Soft lighting, neutral tones.

The wait for more "dirty cash" and questionable life choices is nearly over. Hulu has finally confirmed the Deli Boys Season 2 premiere date, and fans of the Dar brothers can mark their calendars for May 28, 2026. After a debut season that left us wondering how two people could be so pampered yet so fundamentally unprepared for a life of crime, the series is doubling down on its unique brand of Philadelphian absurdity.

New Faces in the Deli Aisle

When we last saw Mir and Raj, they were drowning in the realization that their late father’s convenience store empire was actually a sophisticated front for an international drug smuggling operation. Season 2 promises to crank up the pressure as they navigate an inherited criminal underworld they are barely qualified to visit, let alone run.

To make matters even more interesting (and likely more difficult for our protagonists), the production is bringing in some heavy hitters. Fred Armisen joins the regular cast as Max Sugar, a gambling savant described as "deeply unhinged" which, for Armisen, is basically a Tuesday. We also have Kumail Nanjiani stepping in as a high-priced defense attorney, and Andrew Rannells playing an ambitious D.A. who probably views the Dar brothers as the easiest career win of his life.

What to Expect on May 28

The second season isn't just bringing back the original crew, including Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and the scene-stealing Poorna Jagannathan, it’s expanding the scope of the Dar family’s problems. Between an obsession-prone guest spot from Lilly Singh and a morally flexible therapist played by Robin Thede, the brothers will have plenty of distractions from the actual task of not getting arrested.

The writing continues to lean into the friction between the brothers' desire for a luxury lifestyle and the gritty reality of the "family business." It’s a comedy that succeeds by letting its lead characters be genuinely flawed, making their inevitable stumbles feel earned rather than forced.

The Verdict Pre-Premiere

The addition of such a stacked guest roster suggests that Hulu knows it has a hit on its hands. By blending sharp cultural commentary with the kind of mishaps that only happen to people with too much money and too little common sense, Deli Boys has carved out a niche that feels fresh in a crowded TV landscape.

Get ready for the return of Philadelphia’s least likely kingpins. Whether they actually manage to manage the business or just continue to fail upward remains to be seen, but it’s going to be an entertaining ride.
