Days of Our Lives Weekly Recap

Rafe confronts Shawn at his house, wanting to know how and why things happened and whether he’s using Jada. Shawn insists he’s not, but receives a call and steps away. While waiting, Rafe notices Jada’s blouse and jumps to conclusions before leaving. Shawn returns, confused about where Rafe went.

Sami and Johnny talk briefly before he heads out. He credits Rafe for helping him open up to Sami. Meanwhile, Chanel and

Paulina discuss Johnny, with Chanel voicing concerns to her mother. After Paulina leaves, Johnny returns home and tells Chanel he saw both his parents, though he’s still struggling emotionally.

Jada reflects on Shawn when Paulina enters. They discuss EJ’s shooting and the suspects, and briefly mention Rafe. Paulina soon leaves, saying she needs rest. Jada later goes to collect her things from Shawn and tells Paulina it didn’t go well.

At the Pub, Roman and Kate talk. She informs him that Vivian is back in town. Sami drops by, but before they can discuss the shooting, she says she has another stop and declines their dinner invite. After she leaves, Kate assures Roman she didn’t shoot EJ, and he believes her.

Xander finds Vivian at the Kiriakis mansion and is furious. Phillip makes an excuse, which Xander accepts, but he insists Maggie must be told. Sami visits Rafe, and they talk about their lives. Rafe confides that he believes Jada is back to sleeping with Shawn after he kicked her out. They reminisce about the past and end up kissing.

Melinda encounters Kristen and informs her about the DiMera Enterprises takeover. Soon after, JJ and Shawn arrive to tell Kristen her gun didn’t match the bullet—she’s free to go.

Stephanie and Jada discuss the company takeover. Jada says she doesn’t want to upset Rafe further. Stephanie encourages her to talk to him, and Jada agrees to reach out. Javi walks in on Sami and Rafe, then leaves as they enjoy their time together. Sami later says she’s going home, and Rafe decides to talk with Jada. They express how much they mean to each other before Rafe heads out.

Downstairs, Gabi and Leo continue bickering. Javi tells them about Rafe and his ex-wife—soon Leo realizes it’s the woman who despises him most. Sami and Gabi bond over Ari. When Rafe comes downstairs, he and Gabi leave while Sami sits down for waffles, glaring at Leo. She offers sarcastic advice to Javi and Leo before leaving with a smile. Rafe finally arrives at the small bar.

At DiMera, Melinda tries to get her job back but fails. Kristen arrives, and Melinda exits. Kristen pulls a gun on Xander, but he talks his way out by bringing up Rachel. Phillip speaks with Xander and agrees about Melinda’s firing. When Maggie returns and sees Vivian, she demands she leave. Phillip, feeling trapped, tells Vivian she has to go. Vivian threatens him as she leaves.

JJ and Gabi have a tense talk. He asks if she shot EJ. Gabi is deeply offended and ends things between them.

Sami and Kate discuss the shooting and Sami’s involvement with Rafe. Rafe and Jada’s conversation doesn’t go well. He admits the truth about Sami, only to find out Jada never slept with Shawn again. She now needs space.

Phillip rushes to Kate, saying they need to pay Vivian off—but Vivian is already visiting Xander. Stephanie visits Kayla, burdened by personal issues. Kayla advises her to follow her instincts.

Marlena and Steve visit Orpheus and persuade him to help for the sake of his family. He agrees. Back at the hotel, the ISA tells them to drop the case. Marlena receives a note asking her to come alone. Orpheus tries to manipulate her, saying he needs her help escaping so he can lead her to John. Steve arrives and sees through the lie. They leave him behind.

Alex and Stephanie revisit the secret they’re keeping. Meanwhile, Sarah confides in Maggie about the same secret. Maggie understands and explains that Victor loved his sons, but couldn’t include Phillip in the will. She advises Sarah to stay quiet but promises to support her either way.

Vivian tells Xander the letter was forged. He doesn’t believe her—until he does. Later, he returns home and tells Sarah he’s been betrayed. Meanwhile, Vivian informs Phillip that Xander now knows the truth.

JJ tells Shawn things didn’t go well with Gabi, who has no alibi. Gabi hires Melinda. At the station, Melinda tells JJ and Shawn she’s Gabi’s lawyer. When questioned about the gun in the trash, Gabi admits she gave it to Ava for home protection, unaware Ava wasn’t allowed to have one.

Before leaving town, Sami visits Rafe, who tells her what happened with Jada.

Phillip confronts Vivian about telling Xander. Later, Vivian shows up at the small bar and argues with Gabi, who still doesn’t know Vivian kidnapped Stefan to keep him away from her.

Xander confronts Phillip in front of Sarah. He takes full responsibility and doesn’t implicate anyone else. He pleads for his relationship with Phillip, but Phillip refuses to hear it and walks away.

Sami and Vivian end up leaving town together.
