Dancing With the Stars Season 35 Cast Revealed: Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, Harry Shum Jr. and More

The ballroom is officially open for business again, and Dancing With the Stars has assembled a Season 35 cast that apparently has millennials firmly in its sights.

ABC revealed the complete celebrity lineup and professional pairings Wednesday morning on Good Morning America, filling out a cast that already included Summer House star Ciara Miller, Love Island favorite Maura Higgins, Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson and Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez.

Now they're being joined by everyone from Julia Stiles and Tatyana Ali to Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Dewan, Taylor Hanson and Giada De Laurentiis. Seriously, if you grew up in the '90s or 2000s, somebody in the casting department clearly knows exactly what they're doing.

Sixteen celebrities will compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this season, representing television, movies, reality TV, sports, music, food and social media.

• Ezra Frech (Paralympic gold medalist) and Daniella Karagach

• Amber Glenn (Olympic gold medalist figure skater) and Pasha Pashkov

• Taylor Hanson (Hanson) and Britt Stewart

• Maura Higgins (Love Island UK, The Traitors) and Mark Ballas

• Conner Leavitt (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) and Adele Zaikman

There are some pairings here that immediately have our attention. Putting Save the Last Dance star Julia Stiles on a dancing competition feels almost too perfect, while Glee fans already know that Harry Shum Jr. can MOVE. Then there's Jenna Dewan, whose professional dance background includes working with Janet Jackson before starring in Step Up.

Um, everybody else might want to start practicing immediately.

Familiar Faces and Some Big Returns

Several Season 35 contestants were already confirmed before Wednesday's announcement. Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins were revealed in April, Jackson Olson joined the lineup in May, and Guillermo Rodriguez's participation was announced in June.

There are also some interesting developments on the professional side. Sharna Burgess is returning to the ballroom after five seasons away, with Tyler Cameron as her celebrity partner. Burgess last competed during Season 30 alongside Brian Austin Green.

Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro winner Adele Zaikman officially graduates to the main show and will dance with Conner Leavitt. He's following in the footsteps of his wife, Whitney Leavitt, who competed during Season 34.

Hailey Bills is also moving up to professional dancer after previously appearing in the troupe. She'll dance with Sarah Jane Nader, making them the third same-sex partnership in Dancing With the Stars history.

Season 35 Is Coming Off a Huge Year

The new celebrities have some rather large dancing shoes to fill after a massive Season 34. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson ultimately took home the Mirrorball Trophy, while the finale delivered the show's biggest audience in years.

Carson isn't taking the season off after that victory, either. She's returning to defend her title with Guillermo Rodriguez as her partner while expecting her third child. That should make Guillermo's journey even more interesting to watch.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are also returning as co-hosts, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough once again behind the judges' table.

Season 35 will begin a little differently, with ABC giving the show a two-night premiere event on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16. Both nights will air at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available the following day on Hulu.

The second night will also lead into the first-ever DWTS After Party, hosted by reigning champion Robert Irwin. The live aftershow will feature eliminated contestants, alumni and discussion about what happened inside the ballroom.

As for who we're watching? Julia Stiles walking onto a dance floor in 2026 while an entire generation immediately remembers Save the Last Dance is going to be a moment. Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Dewan also enter this thing with enough dance experience that we're already looking at them sideways. But Dancing With the Stars loves an unexpected frontrunner, so we're not handing anybody that Mirrorball just yet.

Dancing With the Stars Season 35 premieres Tuesday, September 15 and continues Wednesday, September 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+.
