Live From NYCC: 'Cross' Season 2 Trailer Dropped by Prime Video - WATCH

Man in a detective jacket looks intensely back, set against a cloudy sky. Yellow tape with "CROSS" is visible, mood is serious.

Prime Video dropped a first-look teaser and confirmed the premiere date during its panel at New York Comic Con, sending Alex Cross stans into full investigator mode.

The streaming giant confirmed that Season 2 of Cross, starring and executive produced by Aldis Hodge, will premiere February 11, 2026, with the first three episodes dropping at once. New episodes will roll out weekly, with the finale set to air on March 18. You’ve got time to rewatch Season 1 and stock up on coffee.

Based on James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross novels, the series follows the brilliant but brooding forensic psychologist and detective Alex Cross as he dives deep into the twisted minds of killers. Season 2 picks up with Cross chasing down a brutal vigilante who is picking off corrupt billionaires one by one. Think less Robin Hood, more masked menace with a moral compass that’s clearly off-kilter.

New blood is joining the Cross cast this season, including Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, adding fresh chaos to the already high-stakes narrative. Returning cast members like Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, and Samantha Walkes will reprise their roles, keeping continuity tight and fan favorites intact.

Behind the scenes, Cross continues to be in good hands with creator and showrunner Ben Watkins leading the charge. Executive producers include Hodge himself, along with James Patterson, Craig Siebels, and a whole roster of industry veterans. The show is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios.

With its blend of psychological intensity, murder mystery mayhem, and a lead who can read your mind while breaking your spirit, Cross Season 2 is shaping up to be a must-watch for anyone who loves their crime TV dark, smart, and unapologetically twisted.

Set your calendars, sharpen your sleuthing skills, and stay tuned to The TV Cave for all the latest updates, sneak peeks, and wild fan theories. Cross is coming back, and it’s not pulling punches.
